The fifth day of Tihar is the most important one. On this day sisters bless their brothers and give them a Tika on the forehead that consists of seven colors. Rani Pokhari temple opens its doors for people that don't have a sister. As nobody wanted to be my sister I went to this temple to be blessed for Tihar.

With my Youtube videos I aim to show a different perspective than what most travel vloggers would do by interacting with people and really getting the local insights of the places I visit. No matter their social background I treat everyone equal. Sometimes this results in awkard conversations but I love it!

In this video I visit the Taj Mahal, it has been a childhood dream of mine to visit this master piece. I saw it so many times in pictures and videos and finally I witnessed it in real.
After spending a few hours at the Taj Mahal I had some lunch followed by some indian sweets for dessert.
As white marble is very famous in the region of Agra I went to see how it was made in a local workshop, check out their instagram page if you would be interested in buying something: @marbleshop_india
To close off this beautiful day I went to visit the sunset point across the river from the Taj Mahal.

In this video @EllisWR and I take a ferry from Escolta to Santa Ana. Upon our arrival we try some Palabok, explored a church, had an attempt at basketball, visited a roundabout park. We also found some decent coffee and famous calamares in Santa Ana.

First destination of my Czech-Republic road trip was Teplice. This is a beautiful spa city North from Prague.
Not far from Teplice is the Bohemian Switzerland, known for the fabulous rock formations and during colder seasons ice waterfalls.
This whole vlog was shot on the Panasonic Lumix G80. The road footage was shot on a GoPro hero 5.
Make sure to subscribe to my channel, I would really appreciate the support! More vlogs of Czech-republic are on the way.

Because it was my first time taking a real local bus I decided to record the journey from Jaffna to Dambulla.
During the bus journey I met some lovely people as usual and on the way during a quick toilet break I was almost left behind. On a second break I tried some Sri Lankan curd with coconut honey which was definitely approved!
Upon my arrival it was already past lunchtime so I decide to look for a lunch spot. While having my lunch I met Daniel and his friend, we had a chat and he recommended me the Papaya juice as well. No sugar added but still delicious!
After that I bargained a tuktuk to Sigiriya and checked in to Sigiriya Paradise Inn hotel. This place had a beautiful view over rice fields and the famous Sigirya rock.
After doing a hotel tour I dried my beard with a hair dryer. END.
