The good, the bad, and the ugly haha. 1. The Good: For $500 Australian you are buying a premium quality skate. The Moxi Lolly. For out door skating on smooth surfaces, looking fab, and a comfortable roll. 2. The Bad: Do NOT buy Moxi skates online, unless you know they will fit. As Moxi do NOT provide Australian sizing, to guess a size for $500 isn't worth it. Go to a shop and try the skates on. The dye also isn't color fast. The bolt to fasten the toe stoppers is not as good as a design as a side type that needs a hex tool. The angle of the toe stoppers is too high to be of practical use. In other words, it is very difficult to stop using the toe stoppers, and to get them onto the ground with skates on. 3. The Ugly: I tried to find the best size, and I found Moxi extremely unhelpful. I suggested improvements, such as Australian sizes, and as it is a femyl business, for primarily womyn customers, that they should put womyn first, have womyn sizes as the default. To which Moxi replied: "We dont care who comes first so long as it’s us." They also were rude in their communication ... like it was too much of an ask to find out about skate sizes. Conclusion: Yes to buying the Skates, but don't expect any help from Moxi. Find a shop that sells Moxi skates and who know about the brand, and importantly, someone whom you can trust. SCORE Moxi quality and style 9/10 (color dye runs, toe stoppers poorly designed (wrong tightening method and too steep an angle to be useful).
