Eighth video in a series that I'm making detailing how to make a 2D Adventure game with Krita and Godot.
In this section we create the art assets needed to create a health GUI similar to the one used in Hollow Knight but much more basic.
In the next section of this tutorial we code the functionality of the health user interface.

Fourth video in a series I'm making on how to create a 2D adventure game in the Godot Engine.
In this section we export all of the environment assets we created in the previous section of the tutorial from Krita into the Godot engine.
In the next section of this tutorial we will create a parallax background using Godot's built in ParallaxBackground and ParallaxLayer nodes.

Ninth video in a series that I'm making detailing how to make a 2D Adventure game with Krita and Godot.
In this section we write the scripts needed for the health GUI system.
In the next section of this tutorial we will create a game over system.

Seventh video in a series I'm making on how to create a 2D adventure game in the Godot Engine.
In this section we create the enemy scene, we create a basic enemy AI and we update the player script to allow the player to attack the enemy.
In the next section we will create a player health indicator and a game over system to handle player death a little better.

Third video in a series I'm making on how to create a 2D adventure game in the Godot Engine.
In this section we create the environment assets using Krita, a free open source drawing / painting / image manipulation program. It is a nice alternative to photoshop.
In the next section of this tutorial we will either hand paint a texture for the wall in the midground or if people shout at me to "GET TO THE POINT" we'll just export our layers into Godot and get coding.
Paper texture that I used to create the visual effect at the end:

This one is actually not the same as the one I used, but this one will work even better (In my opinion. Feel free to search around for a better one... I could not find the one I used, and I'm not allowed to share the direct image unfortunately, sorry)
