We are so confused about what we call results in this world. Otherwise we wouldn't be so surprised when we so often end up getting almost the exact opposite of what we hoped for.

Usually the content mistakes we make are glaring and obvious to us because of the results we get. But sometimes the results seem ALL out of proportion to the size of the mistake that caused them.

If you're stuck on a way to make your videos more interesting, you might want to try the humble metaphor. I don't think it gets its due.
A metaphor is not a simile. You aren't saying one thing is like another. You're making a direct comparison. This takes your ideas up a few notches.
You can also take a metaphor a very long way. You can reuse them again and again.
