Philips Hacked - They Waited Months To Inform Patients
Philips Respironics was notified on June 5, 2023, of a security vulnerability in a data transfer tool it uses known as MOVEit, which is used in its Encore Anywhere and Care Orchestra Patient management platforms where they store all your data.
5 Months later, on November 2, 2023, their 'investigation' confirmed that an unauthorized party exploited the MOVit software vulnerability and extracted files on May 31, 2023.
After further analysis, on December 1, 2023, they determined that patient information was involved in this incident. This data may include your name, address, date of birth, email address, phone number, patient id, facility id, device serial number, modem serial number, physician and device usage.
They are mailing Letters to patients dated Jan 11th 2024
Today is the 18th Jan 2024 and there's still no press release from Philips

The F&P sleepstyle does contain foam inside the turbine casing. I was unable to access the casing to remove the foam without destroying the out casing which i didn't want to do.
I do trust F&P. They are very patient focused and they have the best business ethics out of all the cpap manufacturers.
The SleepStyle is a very good machine and one i would certainly recommend to the Philips users who want to make the switch.

My sleep tech programmed my ResMed AirSense10 to a pressure of 16 and i felt like i was sleeping in a typhoon. After you showed me how to access the clinical menu, i now have the pressure down to 9 with an AHI of 2.8 events per hour. Surprise! the mask leakage numbers improved by 75% as well! Thank you so much
