In this video I go and explore some new potential fishing spots that I found on Google Maps! I managed to catch a couple fish but I did find a new local pond to fish which is very exciting! I will definitely be making more videos there in the future.
Please like the video and subscribe to the channel if you liked my video! I fish all the time and I usually catch more fish than I did on this day so the content is only going to get better!
I wanted to mix things up a bit after doing so much sheepshead fishing recently so I rigged up my rods with some jigs from Bellaire Jigs to start out and went to work flipping and pitching around and under docks to see if anybody was home. After a couple of hours it seemed like all of the big fish had probably stayed home sick because I just couldn't find them. So after that I did end up switching to targeting sheepshead and managed a couple more fish that way.
All in all it was a successful day in terms of overall numbers of fish caught, but a very small average size of fish. It was just one of those days where you can hardly find one that would be worth keeping, but I had a good time and thought the footage turned out well so I thought you all might still enjoy watching it.
Thank you all for watching and I hoped you enjoyed the video. Have a great day!

I went out to the same spot as my last video to try and find some more big bonnethead sharks on my new lifetime tamarack angler 100 fishing kayak and I was not disappointed. I caught 2 more bonnetheads and a massive stingray that put up a huge fight. I was pretty convinced it was a bigger sharks so I was disappointed to find out it was a stingray, but beggars can't be choosers!
If you have any questions about how I make my shark rigs or anything just ask in the comments down below and I would be happy to make a video on the topic, it's pretty straight forward. Thanks for watching and let me know anything you'd like to see me do next!

Patrick and I had talked about doing this trip for about a year before we were finally able to make it happen. 3 days and 2 nights of just camping, hiking, and fishing along the Chattooga River. The stars aligned and we ended up having 3 days of perfect weather which only made this awesome weekend even better. This definitely won't be the last you'll see of us on the Chattooga, we'll be back for some of the legendary monster trout this river holds.

Elise and I headed out to the area I've been doing so well on recently in hopes of getting her on her first sheepshead. We ended up getting on a good bite in a short window of time and even saw some more sea cows. It was Elise's first time seeing a manatee so I'm really glad they decided to show up again. Afterwards we took a fish home and did a delicious catch, clean, cook with a new recipe we found online. Definitely a new favorite fish recipe for us! Check the link below for that recipe if you'd like to make it at home!

I've been fishing with the DOA CAL 4" soft plastic jerk bait a lot recently on my kayak and doing very well. However, I was curious if the color I was using was really the most effective for the inshore coastal marshes of the Charleston Lowcountry. So I decided to put my two favorite colors to the test at my favorite spot on the Copahee Sound outside of Isle of Palms, SC.
I fished with two different colors of the same lure for 1 hour and compared the results, and they absolutely spoke for themselves. I used my two favorite colors: silver mullet and rootbeer chartreuse. The rootbeer chartreuse is the classic inshore lure color so I wanted to know if I should consider other options or not.
I hope the video is helpful for other people, I'm definitely glad I did it for myself! Let me know what you thought down below and if you'd like to see more tests like this, it was fun to make. Thanks for watching!

My girlfriend and I headed down to the creek with our kayaks the other night at low tide to enjoy a cool summer night happy hour in the marsh. We brought a couple of beers in our cooler and had a great evening of it. I ended up getting on a great speckled sea trout bite using live shrimp and live finger mullet I cast netted on the kayak paddle out there. We had some fun and caught a bunch of trout in a short period of time while fishing in the laziest way possible using live bait and carolina rigs on the bottom.
I hope you enjoyed the video and please let me know in the comments below anything else you’d like to see me do next. Thanks for watching!

I decided to make this trip into a shorter video to try out that format, I just caught straight to the action. Basically I was fishing the knocker rig with a live mullet by a floating dock when a big fish took off with it without warning. This was the first bite of the day and completely caught me off guard. Before I knew it this big fish was way under the dock and when I finally pulled it out from under the dock it somehow broke my rod. Now this was the first time this has ever happened to me and I don't know if I was lucky or what, but I somehow still caught it.
Please enjoy this chaotic short video which had many expletives edited out in post-production. Let me know what you all think of this shorter type of video, I wouldn't do them all of the time or replace my usual longer videos, just as a different video to mix things up a bit! I caught a few smaller slot reds this day, but I chose to leave them out so I could make a shorter and more exciting video for you guys.
Thank you all so much for watching, I appreciate all of you for helping to grow my channel. It's such a cool experience to have new people commenting on my videos all the time!

In this video I set out on one of the last hot days of the summer to do some fishing and try and see if I couldn't put some meat in the cooler. The wind was blowing but the bite was on from the get-go! I managed to fill the cooler and then some, keeping a few for the table and then releasing a whole bunch more. Come along with me and I hope you enjoy the action in this one!

Well once again I had to improvise, adapt and overcome to the situation on the water. The fish just were not interested in eating artificials, no matter how many different lures I tried. Once I realized that lures just weren't cutting it on this day, I made a pivot and loaded up on mud crabs and started fishing for sheepshead under the bridge. I knew this bridge held a lot of fish from my last trip out here, but man were those pilings loaded! I landed a ton of sheeps on this trip, including a giant right at the end! After a few hours of casting without luck this really made it an amazing fishing trip for me.
Thanks for watching and have a great weekend! Also, I tried exporting this one as a 4k video so please let me know if you all notice a difference in quality or not. If not I'll keep doing what I usually do with the videos, but if there's a noticeable difference in quality I'm happy to put the extra effort into editing!
