This was my first match in 2 months coming off holidays, trip back home and being sick for a week. Was fun to be shooting again, lucky for us the rain stopped after a couple of hours so we stayed dry for the rest of the match.

Didn't get to shoot live fire since I shot Berry's Steel, almost a month ago now, and it shows. Did not start off well today with a jam. I figured out what the problem is, there's grime from my dry-fire bullets in the chamber that makes brass get stuck. After cleaning it, the gun ran fine. Gotta remember to clean my chamber before every match.
the only thing good from today's match are the classifiers. I think I made GM with the two classifiers we had today. Probably not a good thing either as Area 1 is in a few weeks. Oh well. I'll take it.

Action Pistol match at the Snoqualmie Valley Rifle Club. This match is very similar to USPSA but everything is scored Minor. Fun an unassuming match. checkout their website at http://svrifle.org

Ahhh! I'm finally getting my mojo back. That and you know the popular saying, "When the cat's away, the mouse come out to play". The usual suspects are shooting the USPSA Nationals and that gave me the opportunity to get up there. Anyway, I'll take it!
Was a great match and shot with a fun squad.

Here's a quick comparison between a Master Class shooter (TimR) and myself shooting Stage 6 of last weekend's match at Paul Bunyan. Stage was designed by PaulC, called Paulito's Run. 33 rounds, 165 points Comstock. You can see the misses on the steel through the barrel cost me a couple of seconds, and from that point on, I was trailing Tim till the end of the stage.

Here's the normal match video that I usually post on YouTube. It's a special match in Paul Bunyan in Puyallup, WA. This match was organized by Nick Stockwell and Charis Denton and it featured amazing stages that allowed the shooter various ways of shooting the stage. Totally refreshing! Thanks guys.

Here's a comparison between two POV / Hatcam cameras for the shooting sports. The Contour+ and the Mobius HD. The Contour is recorded at 720p 60fps (but rendered in 30fps) and Mobius is set at 1080p at 30fps.
The Contour+ still has better image and sound quality compared to the Mobius but at almost SIX times the price.
The Mobius is also much smaller and easier to mount anywhere.
