Some footage from a big day of time lapsing. I shot 5 lapses yesterday. It was the most I've captured in a day so far. I shoot them for about an hour each, but it can take me 30 minutes to an hour to find a good spot with a nice composition.

Shot this yesterday. I have been seeing this giant beached driftwood for the past week and thinking about it. Shot it in haste though. As I was editing it I noticed a few spots from a dirty sensor that I should have checked and cleaned before I headed out. Still looks cool though.

SkyLapse 7. Now for a little something different from my regular dark moody and cloudy time lapses. Something light and cheerful.

One of my favourite subject to photograph and to timelapse are schools of the pre-80s era. In general I love retro/vintage anything really. Think I'm going to be on the hunt for school yards in the coming weeks.

A short experiment sunset time lapse test near my new studio. I love how it turned out. I think it goes well with the little static drone music I added, creating a haunting atmosphere to this beautiful sunset.
Do you think the music and the image are a nice juxtaposition? I'd love to hear your thoughts.

I shot this delicious cloudy sky time lapse yesterday afternoon. Looks like peaches and cream. Lip smacking and juicy.

The past few days it's been mostly clear skies and a little frustrating find some good vantage points for some good time lapse shots. Going to wake up early tomorrow and spend the whole day shooting. Hopefully I get 4 - 6 lapses in the can.

Time SkyLapse 12. My GF thought this time lapse I shot the other day looked like purple grape saltwater taffy being hand pulled and stretched. She too cute.

The way I shoot my time lapses I need to ride a bike. Walking is too slow and I can't cover enough ground and a car is a big blind spot and very limiting in finding anything spontaneously. Some days I'll ride up to 50 - 60 miles back and forth across my city carrying my camera and tripod trying to find a good vantage point. The clouds and the composition subject matter need to line up, so riding all over the city isn't unsual at all.

I recently purchased an ice cream machine as a hobby during Covid-19 quarantined. So far I've made vanilla, 2 batches of chocolate and mint and for my GF's Bday a vanilla base with Reese's Mini Cups and Pieces swirled ingredients, her favourite. It's my turn next and this weekend I'm going to make a cherry and chocolate combo that I'll share with Mom for Mother's Day. My girlfriend can't stop talking about making bubble gum ice cream. I'm not a fan of that favour but I do admit it's usually a pretty pink and blue swirl mixture.
