This is video #021 in my playthrough of Final Fantasy IV: The After Years for the PC. This is episode 4 of Porom's Tale: The Vanished Lunar Whale.

Previously, Porom explored the Passage of the Eidolons with Palom and Rydia. Unfortunately, Rydia did not let the twins accompany her into the Feymarch. Then, in the present, the Lunar Whale took off for the Moon without warning. Porom volunteered to go to Mount Ordeals with a couple of mages and ask Kain to help in Mysidia. Now, she will climb the mountain.
Overworld:
We regain control of Porom and her group outside Mount Ordeals. They swap around their bows so that Porom has the best bow and she and the White Mage have Holy Arrows.
The party enters Mount Ordeals.
Mount Ordeals (time 0:41):
Mount Ordeals is laid out as it was in the original game. The party may be all mages, but with the right weapons and spells, their climb will not be too difficult. The party starts at the Mount Ordeals - Entrance.
In the east of the second level of the Entrance, a chest contains an Ether.
In the east of the third level, a chest contains a Psycho Spiral, a White Mage's staff.
The White Mage and the Black Mage reach Level 16.
On the top level of the Entrance, the party continues up to the Trail.
The party continues up to the Crossing.
Porom reaches Level 23 and learns the White Magic spell Blink. The White Mage and the Black Mage reach Level 17.
In the west of the Crossing's bottom level, there is a stairway to a ledge where a chest contains a Sage's Miter. Porom equips this headgear.
West of the bridge on the top level of the Crossing, a stairway leading down to a ledge where a chest contains a quiver of Dark Arrows.
In the northwest, the party continues up to the Summit.
The White Mage and the Black Mage reach Level 18.
Just above the doorway, a chest to the west contains an Adamantite.
The party rests and saves at the save point in the east.
A scene takes place when they examine the marker in the northwest. The Mirror Chamber is in bad shape. However, Kluya speaks to Porom.
Before starting across the bridge again, it will help to put everyone in the front row. When the party starts across, a group of undead will back-attack them. But before the party can act, Kain saves them! Something seems off about him, though. Regardless, Porom convinces him to come along.
Kain joins the party at Level 25. He comes with a Wind Spear, a Mythril Shield, a Mythril Helm, Mythril Armor, and Mythril Gloves. Finally, a physical attacker! Something is off about him, though.
Before the party starts back down, they save at the save point.
The party descends to the Crossing. Porom reaches Level 24.

This is video #308 in my Dragon Quest X for PC gameplay series.
Davilas is currently working on the Version 3.0 storyline. Previously, he carried out the Eltona portion of the storyline in the Tsusukuru area and Sui Shrine. Now, he will work on the Ogrid portion of the storyline, which starts in Rangao Village.
Davilas resumes in his house in the Azlan housing area. Outside, he checks his mailbox and receives payment for items that sold on the bazaar. He also hits the bazaar and puts some more loot up for sale. Finally, he puts some gold in the bank and some items in storage.
When he is ready to go, he Zooms to Rangao Village.
Rangao Village (time 8:34):
In the village king's house, Davilas talks to Kasha at F-4. His first objective is to look for Maiyu, starting in Glen.
Davilas Zooms to Glen.
Glen (time 11:12):
Davilas enters the train station. Within, he talks to Giouda at G-7. This NPC is wearing a Maiyu T-shirt.
Afterwards, Davilas leaves the station, heads up, and enters Glen Castle.
Glen Castle (time 13:42):
Davilas goes up to the second floor. He talks to Nidolf at E-5 to enter the throne room.
Then, Davilas talks to King Bagdo on the throne at C-5. Bagdo advises Davilas to check for Maiyu in Lion's Gate between Glen and Rangao.
Davilas exits the castle.
Glen (time 16:06):
Davilas Zooms to Lion's Gate.
Lion's Gate (time 16:21):
Davilas enters the inn at D-6. This triggers a scene with Maiyu and Arold. They head for Rangao Village immediately.
After the scene, Davilas Zooms to Rangao Village.
Rangao Village (time 18:56):
Davilas returns to the village king's house and talks to Kasha at F-4. This triggers another scene with Maiyu and Arold. Now, Davilas must go to Goz Valley in the southwest of Landon Foot and help Maiyu acquire the Snow Flower.
After the scene, Davilas takes the option to fast-travel to Landon Foot.
Landon Foot (time 23:04):
Davilas arrives at B-7 near the exit to Goz Valley in the southwest. He talks to Sister Nash nearby to set a Zoom Stone.
Then, he exits at B-7 to Goz Valley.
Goz Valley (time 24:06):
Davilas arrives at H-5 in the east of Goz Valley. He cannot use his Dol Board in this glacial location. Fortunately, the path at the start is straightforward.
Along the way, he finds a blue chest with 2,080 gold at F-4.
At D-2/D-3, Davilas sets a Zoom Stone to the crystal.
At C-2, Davilas examines the trial gate. He is thrust into battle against the Big Big Hat. This giant Big Hat can summon lesser Big Hats.
After the battle, Davilas can continue past the gate at C-2.
At C-1, he finds a black chest containing 5 Bingo Tickets.
At B-8 in the southwest, Davilas finds a black chest with a Yellow Orb.
At D-5/D-6, a black chest contains a Chrono Crystal.

He enters Sanmen Gate.

Davilas talks to the gate guard, Raivas, at E-3. He signs up to defeat 10 Spike Heads in the False Gran Zedoura Region.

Davilas hunts Spike Heads in the northern part of the zone. As Rocky gains levels, Davilas puts its skill points into the top skill, Attack Power, which provides attack-related abilities and traits.
Davilas reaches Item Master Level 31 and gains 4 skill points. He puts them into Item Mastery for a total of 82. At 80, he learns a new buffing ability.
When he has finished defeating Spike Heads, Davilas Zooms back to Sanmen Gate.

Davilas reports to Raivas at E-3. Gate quest complete!

Previously, the party carried out Quest 163 and wrapped up the Minstrel vocation quest line. Then, they did some more grinding, and Heorot reached Minstrel Level 50. Now, the party will begin unlocking additional vocations, starting with Gladiator.
Glen (time 0:28):
The party resumes in the church in Glen Castle Town. At the pub, Heorot changes his vocation to Level 48 Martial Artist. He unequips his weapon.
The party Zooms to Rakkaran, the Entertainment Island.
Rakkaran (time 4:38):
In the southwest, the party enters the Coliseum at B-6. In the south, they take the stairway at D-7 to the basement pub.
In the basement pub, they talk to Jacob at F-8. Jacob will issue the quest to unlock Gladiator/Battlemaster. However, he first wants the party to bring him an Antidotal Herb (どくけしそう) and a Wakerobin (めざめの花).
The party goes upstairs. They visit the item shop at G-4 and pick up an Antidotal Herb and a Wakerobin.
The party goes back down to the basement pub. They talk to Jacob at F-8 and hand over the Antidotal Herb and Wakerobin. Jacob issues Quest 164: "Punch It! Gladiator", the Gladiator unlock quest. The prerequisites are to reach Level 30 in Warrior and Martial Artist. Jacob gives Heorot the Trial Bangle (試練のバングル) accessory, which reduces the wearer's hit rate to 25%. While wearing the Trial Bangle and without a weapon or shield equipped, Heorot must defeat a Weaken Beakon (デッドペッカー). Weaken Beakons appear in the North Velinard Region and Past Landon Foot.
Heorot leaves the Coliseum. He Zooms to the entrance to the Eternal Underground Labyrinth in the North Velinard Region.
North Velinard Region (time 10:28):
The party encounters Weaken Beakons (デッドペッカー) in the northwest of the North Velinard Region. The protagonist's support characters should reduce the Weaken Beakon's HP to the red before the protagonist tries to defeat the bird brain with the Trial Bangle equipped. With the reduced hit rate, it may take a while, especially if the Weaken Beacon inflicts Dazzle on the protagonist. It may help to have points in the Fisticuffs skill.
Eventually, Heorot manages to punch the Weaken Beakon's lights out. The party's next objective is to report to Jacob in the Coliseum pub in Rakkaran.
Heorot reequips his old accessory and his claws. The party Zooms to Rakkaran.
Rakkaran (time 15:10):
The party enters the Coliseum at B-6. They go down the stairs at D-7 to the basement pub. There, they talk to Jacob at F-8. Quest 164 complete! Heorot earns the Gladiator/Battlemaster vocation, and the party earns a Bronze Skill Up Panel (スキルアップパネル・銅). Per usual, the first Gladiator vocation quest will be available when Heorot reaches Gladiator Level 10.
The party goes upstairs and visits the Dharma priest at the pub counter. Heorot changes his vocation to Level 1 Gladiator. The Gladiator can equip swords, greatswords, and hammers and can fight with Fisticuffs. Heorot will go the greatsword route. Gladiator starts with the trait Dual-Wield (二刀の心得). This is Gladiator-exclusive, unfortunately, and it only works with one-handed weapons. Heorot equips a Demon Slayer +3, an Angel Hat, a Genbu Dogi Upper, Tussler's Trousers, and a couple of accessories.
Outside, the party Zooms to the Landon Mountain Summit Path.
Landon Mountain Summit Path (time 19:22):
The party goes to the Summit. They talk to Fifi at H-2 for transport to the Heart of Hades.
Heart of Hades (time 19:51):
The party begins grinding on the First Island. They use a Double Bubble and a Metal Perfume.
After a battle, Heorot jumps to Gladiator Level 11. He learns the Gladiator ability Clap Trap (とうこん討ち) at Level 2, the trait Deftness +20 at Level 5, Strength +5 at Level 8, and the ability Double Up (すてみ) at Level 11. He earns 14 skill points for a total of 15. Under Greatswords, he spends 3 points on the ability Dragon Slash (ドラゴンスラッシュ), 2 points on Critical Rate +0.5% with a greatsword equipped, 3 points on Attack Power +5, and 7 points on the ability Frost Fangs (フリーズブレード).
The player earns the accolades "Unbeatable" for reaching Gladiator Level 5, "Bushwhacker" for reaching Gladiator Level 10, "Greatsword User" for picking up 2 nodes on the Greatsword skill panel, and "Greatsword Mania" for picking up 4 nodes.

Previously, in the City, the party carried out the standard quest "Lovebirds" with Gray and encountered his wife, Rozana. They also carried out the standard quest "Choices" and chased down the Lost Fighters. Now, they will begin Gray's ascension quest in the City.
The party resumes at the City Camp in the City.
With Gray set as the Hero, the party approaches the quest event south of the City Camp. This triggers a cutscene sequence with Gray, Monica, and Rozana. The hero quest "Payback for Treason", Gray's ascension quest, begins. Gray and Rozana discuss a problem in detail, among other things, with the party in the Lost Numbers Dormitory. "G-dawg"? lol!
After they regain control, the party skip travels to the Eternal Canopy on Daedal Isle in the Erythia Sea, Cadensia Region. They take the rope slide northeast to the lagoon infested with Level 70+ monsters. They take out some beasties to advance their acquisition of classes. Apparently class acquisition does not advance if you fight enemies whose levels are much lower than the party's. Many thanks to ZeroBeys for pointing this out! If any of the tutorials mentioned this, I missed it. Reminds me of DQ6 and DQ7, where you generally don't get vocation progression if your level is too high for an area. It seems the job acquisition progresses even faster if you target elite enemies, such as the Kassis Plambuses in the lagoon area.
After some fighting, some party members have acquired new classes, and Eunie reaches Lone Exile rank 10. Taion changes to Lone Exile, and Eunie changes to Incursor. They rank up with some Nopon Coins.
Through a cave east of the lagoon, the party finds a Soldier's Husk. They climb the wall to a sandy plateau. Then, to the north, they drop off onto a grassy plateau.
They approach the target marker in the east for a cutscene. Some fools think they can challenge the party.
The party must fight the Hardliner LNs, a five-person group consisting of Lost Protectors and Lost Fighters. Their levels are 50 and 51.
A cutscene sequence takes place after the battle. Some folk in the City are making trouble.
After regaining control, the party finds a Container to the north of their starting position.
They skip travel to the Serene Square in the City. They go north to Astelle Harbor for a scene with Lieutenant Travis. Time to gather info.
East of Centrilo Parade, the party talks to Drumdrum. They learn the info "Rozana's Whereabouts (1/3)".
At the Medical Facility in the southeast, they talk to Hollis. They learn the info "Rozana's Whereabouts (2/3)".
To proceed, the party must approach the quest event at the Remembrance Stones outside the Medical Facility for a scene introducing Clara. This starts the standard quest "Shock to the System".
For "Shock to the System", the party enters the Medical Facility. This triggers a scene with Hollis, Monica, and others. Hollis needs ingredients for medicine: 20 Egg Seeds, 20 Heavy Pomegranates, and 20 Roccodori Roots. Yay, more collectible farming.
For "Payback for Treason", the party can now talk to Clara just west of the Medical Facility entrance. They learn the info "Rozana's Whereabouts (3/3)".
At the City Camp, the party discusses "Rozana's Whereabouts". It's a pretty long discussion. A cutscene takes place afterwards. The next destination is in the Great Sword Passage.
Afterwards, the party saves. Next time, they will complete "Payback for Treason". They may also continue "Shock to the System".

Previously, Heorot finished training up to Level 50 as Beastmaster. Then, he switched over to Bard. He trained up to Level 15 in South Gustaberg and picked up several Bard songs. Now, he will continue training as Bard.
Heorot resumes in his Mog House in Bastok. He exits to Bastok Mines.
Bastok Mines (time 0:37):
Heorot uses the Survival Guide at I-9 to teleport to Konschtat Highlands, Zulkheim.
Konschtat Highlands (time 1:22):
He arrives at the Survival Guide at G-3. He exits northwest to Valkurm Dunes.
Valkurm Dunes (time 2:17):
Heorot arrives at M-11 in the southeast. He uses the Field Manual at L-11 to sign up for the Page 1 individual training to defeat 7 Hill Lizards and 1 Sand Hare per training regime. He sets out to focus on these enemies as well as Goblins.
When he can, he uses the Scroll of Foe Requiem II to learn the Bard song Foe Requiem II.
Eventually, Heorot reaches Level 27 as Bard.
Now, it is time to shop for some more songs. First, Heorot uses the Survival Guide at H-7 to teleport to Ru'Lude Gardens, Jeuno.
Ru'Lude Gardens (time 34:28):
He teleports to Upper Jeuno.
Upper Jeuno (time 35:08):
Heorot visits M & P's Market at G-6. He sells off some loot. From Champalpieu, he picks up a Scroll of Wind Threnody and a Scroll of Water Threnody. He uses them to learn the Bard songs Wind Threnody and Water Threnody.
Then, Heorot teleports to Southern San d'Oria.
Southern San d'Oria (time 38:20):
Valeriano and his troupe are in whichever country is in first place, as long as there is not a tie for the lead. When San d'Oria is in first place, the player can find him at I-9 in Southern San d'Oria. Heorot talks to Valeriano and picks up a Piccolo and a Scroll of Scop's Operetta. He uses the scroll to learn the Bard song Scop's Operetta. He also equips his new Piccolo.
Next, Heorot teleports to Windurst Waters.
Windurst Waters (time 41:04):
Heorot visits Ensasa's Catalysts at H-9. He talks to Ensasa and picks up a Scroll of Fire Threnody. He uses it to learn the Bard song Fire Threnody.
Then, he teleports to Southern San d'Oria.
Southern San d'Oria (time 43:10):
Heorot talks to Ferdoulemiont at I-11 just outside the Chocobo Stables. He picks up a Scroll of Knight's Minne II and uses it to learn the Bard song Knight's Minne II.
Next, Heorot teleports to Port Jeuno.
Port Jeuno (time 45:11):
Heorot goes down the stairs at I-8 and enters the Jeuno Duty-Free Shop at H-8. From Leyla, he picks up a Scroll of Learned Etude, a Scroll of Spirited Etude, and a Scroll of Enchanting Etude. He uses them to learn the Bard songs Learned Etude

Previously, Heorot continued training in Yhoator Jungle and has reached Level 50 as Red Mage. Level 50 is the starting level limit. To increase it, he must carry out a level limit side quest.
Heorot resumes at his Mog House in Bastok. He receives some money from the auction house in his delivery box. Before leaving, he withdraws a Goblin Mask from storage.
Bastok Mines (time 1:19):
Goblin Masks themselves do not sell on NPC shops. However, they can be desynthesized. Under Synthesis, you can select a Wind Crystal and a Goblin Mask to break it down into a square of Sheep Leather with Leathercraft. You can also select a Lightning Crystal and a Goblin Mask to break it down into Grass Fibers with Alchemy. However, the latter requires a higher skill level. Heorot uses a Wind Crystal on the Goblin Mask to get Sheep Leather.
Then, he heads back into the Residential Area.
Mog House (time 2:14):
Heorot does a little more inventory management. Then, he heads back out.
Bastok Mines (time 2:44):
Heorot visits Neigepance at the Chocobo Stables to sell off his Sheep Leather. Then, he teleports to Bastok Markets.
Bastok Markets (time 3:50):
Heorot visits Karine at H-9. He picks up the Map of the Eldieme Necropolis, the Map of the Garlaige Citadel, and the Map of the Crawlers' Nest for 3,000 gil apiece. The first level limit quest will take Heorot to each of these three dungeons, which are in the zones surrounding Jeuno.
Then, Heorot teleports to Windurst Waters.
Windurst Waters (time 6:03):
Heorot goes to the roof of the Opistery in the northern part of Windurst Waters. There, he talks to Churano-Shurano at F-8. After a long-winded sales pitch, Heorot donates 10,000 gil and receives the Magicked Astrolabe in return. Oh, my aching wallet! However, the Magicked Astrolabe will open gates in the Eldieme Necropolis for a solo player, which I happen to be.
Next, Heorot teleports to Ru'Lude Gardens, Jeuno.
Ru'Lude Gardens (time 9:31):
In the northern garden of the Grand Duke Palace, Heorot talks to Maat at H-5. When the player has reached Level 50 in a job, Maat issues the quest "In Defiant Challenge". He challenges Heorot to gather a piece of Ancient Papyrus, a clump of Exoray Mold, and a chunk of Bomb Coal. Ancient Papyrus comes from Liches in the Eldieme Necropolis. Exoray Mold comes from Exorays in the Crawlers' Nest. Bomb Coal comes from Explosures in Garlaige Citadel. These items are exclusive and rare, so they cannot be acquired from the auction house. Optionally, you can also collect key items from ??? spots in each dungeon to acquire these items.

Previously, Heorot continued grinding in Escha - Ru'Aun. He has earned a total of 118 Job Points as Red Mage. In this video, he will do some more Job Point grinding as Red Mage in Escha - Ru'Aun.
Heorot resumes in his Mog House in Bastok. He picks up a few Merit Point upgrades.
Then, he heads out to Bastok Mines.
Bastok Mines (time 1:42):
Heorot teleports to Misareaux Coast, Tavnazian Archipelago.
Misareaux Coast (time 2:07):
Heorot arrives at Home Point #1 at G-5. Up the hill, he examines the Undulating Confluence at G-5 to enter Escha - Ru'Aun.
Escha - Ru'Aun (time 2:46):
Heorot arrives at H-11. After summoning his Trust NPCs, he hunts some more Eschan Il'aern in this zone. A holiday event is boosting experience, limit, and capacity points earned.
In the process, he acquires a scroll of Burst for Level 56 Black Mage.
Heorot accrues 2 Job Points for an overall total of 120 Job Points earned. He has a current total of 5 Job Points.
When he has finished for now, he uses the Undulating Confluence at H-11 to return to Misareaux Coast, Tavnazian Archipelago.
Misareaux Coast (time 1:05:31):
Heorot arrives at G-5. Just down the hill to the west, he uses Home Point #1 at G-5 to teleport to Port Jeuno.
Port Jeuno (time 1:06:05):
Heorot trades his Crests to Shami at H-8 for storage.
Then, he teleports to Bastok Mines.
Bastok Mines (time 1:07:48):
In the Chocobo Stables, Heorot visits Neigepance and sells some loot. At the auction house, he puts a Fire Cluster and two Plutons up for sale.
Afterwards, he enters the residential area.
Mog House (time 1:10:28):
Heorot changes his main job to Level 61 Black Mage. Then, he goes back outside.
Bastok Mines (time 1:10:59):
Heorot uses his scroll of Burst to learn the Black Magic spell Burst. Afterwards, he reenters the residential area.
Mog House (time 1:11:38):
Heorot changes his main job to Level 99 Red Mage. In his delivery box, he receives gil for three Plutons that sold at auction.
Heorot signs off. Next time, he will continue grinding.

Previously, the party continued the Gran Zedora storyline. With the help of Crows's powers, Heorot entered Mishua's memory and helped her remember her past. She is the true Hero Princess Anlucia. But what of the lookalike that abducted her? The evil Anlucia tried but failed to steal the true Anlucia's heroic powers. The true Anlucia has joined the party. Now, the party must go to Alltrades Abbey and pursue the evil Anlucia through the portal to the Whirlpool of Creation.
Gran Zedora (time 0:29):
The party resumes in the church in the Kingdom of Gran Zedora.
While Anlucia comes with several nodes purchased on her skill panel, there are several yet available, and she comes with 139 skill points unallocated. Under Courage, she spends 3 points on Max MP +5, 15 points on the ability Gigaslash (ギガスラッシュ), 7 points on +3% Chance not to Consume MP, and 25 points on the Coup de Grâce ability Gigagash (ギガブレイク). Under Truth, she spends 12 points on Heal Effect +10% and 20 points on the Coup de Grâce spell Kazap (ギガデイン). Under Justice, she spends 12 points on the ability Gyrfalcon Slash (超はやぶさ斬り), 10 points on Critical Hit Rate +10%, 7 points on Weapon Guard Rate +3%, 20 points on the Coup de Grâce ability Phoenix Dance (不死鳥天舞), and 5 points on Attack Power +10 with a sword equipped. Phoenix Dance deals four physical blows to an enemy and restores HP to the user; quite useful.
Anlucia also equips a Wood-Carved Rosary +3 (木彫りのロザリオ＋３).
The player earns the accolade "Follower of the Hero Princess" for picking up 40 nodes on Anlucia's skill panel.
The party leaves the church. Near the entrance to town, Ike at D-7/E-7 has story info.
The party Zooms to the Town of Seredo to check for story info.

The party Zooms to Alltrades Abbey.
Alltrades Abbey (time 7:54):
From the exterior, the party takes the doors at D-2/E-2 into floor 1F of the abbey. The lock on the door at D-5/E-5 has been opened, so the party goes through to the Courtyard. They take the next door at D-3/E-3 to the abbey's northern wing.
In the northwestern room, a bedroom, a wardrobe at C-2 contains a Priest's Robe (司祭のほうい). A wardrobe at C-3 contains a Priest's Hat (司祭のほうい).
The party goes up the stairs at B-4 to floor 2F.
In the western room, a dining hall, a pot at B-3 contains 3 Budding Spuds (まんまるポテト). A barrel at B-2 contains a phial of Finessence (ぶどうエキス).
In the northern room, an office, a black chest at D-2 contains a Blue Orb (ブルーオーブ). A bookcase at D-1 contains the book "Creation and Destruction".
At the eastern end of the hall, a red chest at F-3 contains 2 Sage's Elixirs (けんじゃのせいすい).
In the eastern room, a bookcase at F-3 contains "Alltrades Priest Training Knowledge". However, it is blank. In fact, several books in Rendashia are blank. One has to wonder why.
The party goes back down to floor 1F. They take the eastern stairway at F-3 down to floor B1.
At E-5 on B1, a barrel contains 3 Strong Antidotes (上どくけしそう).
In the Ceremonial Chamber (儀式の間), the party examines the purple teleportal at D-3/D-4. This triggers a scene with Hero Princess Anlucia. The party automatically goes through.
Eterne Village (time 15:30):
A scene takes place as the party arrives in Eterne Village. Wow, this place is in bad shape. The party must make their way north.
After the scene, the party gains control at C-7. The nearby teleportal on Lord Kame's platform leads back to Alltrades Abbey. Look out for the toxic pools. There seem to be no treasures or humans in the village. However, there are three docile monsters with information.
The party exits north at F-2 to the Nurturing Land.
Nurturing Land (time 20:52):
The party starts at C-7/D-7 in the south. This area is laid out as it was in the game's prologue, and it is home to the same starting monsters. However, there is a different treasure available.
Anlucia reaches Level 61. She earns 13 skill points for a total of 16. Under Patience, she spends 10 points on Dark Resistance +10%.
In the Cornerstone Woods (いしずえの森), a red chest at G-3 contains a pair of Slime Earrings (スライムピアス).
When the party's Double Bubble and Metal Perfume expire, they use new ones.
The party takes out a couple of Metal Slimes (time 27:17).
The party exits north at E-1 to the Nameless Meadow.

Davilas is currently working on the Version 5.3 storyline. Previously, he carried out a couple more story quests. He did Quest 650 for Valeria and Quest 651 for Asbar and Linberi. Now, he will work on Quest 652 for Yushka.
Davilas resumes in his house in the Azlan housing area. Outside, he checks his mail and receives gold for items that sold on the bazaar. Many thanks to the buyers!
Davilas uses the Abyss Jewel to teleport to the west wing of the Great Demon King's Castle.
Great Demon King's Castle (time 1:55):
Davilas visits the bank in the west wing and deposits his gold. Also, he visits the pub and changes his vocation to Level 122 Minstrel.
Davilas teleports to the castle's east wing and enters Yushka's room at F-5. Within, he talks to Yushka at E-5. Yushka issues Quest 652: "The Great Demon King's Colossal Statue". Davilas must go north from the Gerhena Phantom Field to the Gradel Plateau, where he will find the Great Demon Kings' Face Wall.
Davilas uses the Abyss Jewel to teleport to the Grand Court Gate.
Grand Court Gate (time 5:41):
Davilas exits south at D-8 to the Gerhena Phantom Field.
Gerhena Phantom Field (time 6:13):
Davilas arrives at C-2 in the northwest. He works his way east.
At E-2, Davilas takes the gate north to the Gradel Plateau (グラデル台地).
Gradel Plateau (time 7:13):
Davilas starts at D-8 in the south. The exit to his destination is in the northern end of the zone.
At D-7, Davilas examines the Abyss Gate. This adds a new destination to the Abyss Jewel. Davilas begins exploring the area.
In the southeast, a black chest at G-7 contains a Machine God's Eye (機神の眼甲) accessory.
At H-5 in the east, a black chest contains 3 Red Orbs.
In the apprentices' hut at F-5, Davilas finds a black chest at F-4 along the eastern wall. It contains 10 Amber Dahlias (アンバーダリア).
In the west, a black chest at A-5 contains 3 Silver Alchemy Stones (銀の錬金石).
By the northern exit, Davilas examines the Abyss Gate at D-1. This adds another new destination to the Abyss Jewel.
Then, he exits north to the Great Demon Kings' Face Wall (大魔王顔壁) at D-1.
Great Demon Kings' Face Wall (time 16:02):
A brief scene plays as Davilas enters the area. The Face Wall is Mount Rushmore for Great Demon Kings.
Davilas gains control at D-7 in the south.
In the north, he talks to Mohipenko, the master artisan, at D-2. This triggers some dialogue. The next objective is to defeat Vicious Bunicorns in the Gerhena Phantom Field to obtain a Phantom Beast Horn.
Davilas uses the Abyss Jewel to teleport to the Abandoned Rock Hole in the Gerhena Phantom Field.
Gerhena Phantom Field (time 18:27):
Davilas arrives in the Abandoned Rock Hole at C-6. He heads outside.
Northeast of the Abandoned Rock Hole, Davilas finds Vicious Bunicorns (いっかくウサギ・強) starting around C-5. He begins targeting them.
After a few battles, Davilas acquires the Phantom Beast Horn (幻獣のツノ) key item. His next objective is to take this to Mohipenko at the Face Wall.
Davilas teleports to the exit to the Face Wall in the Gradel Plateau with the Abyss Jewel.
Gradel Plateau (time 22:05):
Davilas exits north to the Face Wall at D-1.
Great Demon Kings' Face Wall (time 22:29):
Davilas goes north and talks to Mohipenko at D-2. He hands over the Phantom Beast Horn. The next objective is to talk to Mohipenko's apprentices in the hut on the Gradel Plateau.
Davilas exits south at D-7 to the Gradel Plateau.
Gradel Plateau (time 24:23):
Davilas goes southeast and enters the apprentices' hut at F-5. Within, he talks to Migelei at F-5 near the entrance. The next objective is to talk to someone in Zekres's item shop.
Davilas also talks to Borojan at F-5 and Rimua at F-4.
Davilas uses the Abyss Jewel to teleport to Zekres.
Magical Land of Zekres (time 26:53):
In the item shop at D-4, Davilas talks to Dulme at C-3. Dulme gives him the Makai Macaron (マカイ・マカロン) key item. Davilas must now take this to Mohipenko.
Davilas uses the Abyss Jewel to teleport to the exit to the Face Wall in the Gradel Plateau.
