Like many people, urban exploration is something I take an interest in, though unfortunately, there's not a whole lot to explore in my city as it is one of Australia's biggest tourist destinations and abandoned buildings rarely stay complete for long (i.e. they're usually demolished and removed quickly), so I don't get to do as much urban exploration as I would like. One place I have always wanted to explore was the Big Brother House... Partially because I like the design of the houses, partially because the television was always held in my home city and partially because I was very nearly a contestant once upon a time. So when I returned to the Gold Coast - having been away for nearly ten years, due to my former work - one of the first things I did was head out to the Big Brother House to do a little urban exploration... This was filmed the second time I visited the Big Brother House, though I spent loads of time there before its untimely destruction, due to the fact that the Big Brother House was so peaceful and relaxing. Eventually local kids vandalised the Big Brother House and set it alight, so it is no more... But feel free to check out this lengthy video, exploring the final Big Brother House on the Gold Coast, which was used for Season 11 (aired in 2014). This footage was captured with a Sony FDR-AX53, encoded with OpenShot under Ubuntu (one of the most popular Linux-based operating systems) and has been uploaded to Odysee exclusively.

Once again, Sea World on the Gold Coast (Queensland, Australia) has held its popular “Carnivale” event and as has been the case with previous years, the “Aquacolor Lightshow” was the grand finale of the evening. This year’s Aquacolor Lightshow was in my opinion, probably one of the better shows held to date… Sadly, the same cannot be said of my footage, and I am quite unhappy with the end result. Honestly, my footage does not do this event justice, and I highly recommend you attend the “Carnivale” event at Sea World in the future, to see the Aquacolor Lightshow personally (it’s usually held during January and / or February of each year).
