In this video we take a closer look at my chinese pepper bonsai, also know as zanthoxylum piperitum, sichuan pepper, or japanese pepper tree. Since it is more established in its pot by now, it is time to continue working on it, by cleaning some of the left over branch stubs and working a bit on the overall shape of the bonsai tree

In today's video we once more look at some of the plants in my houseplant collection which I would consider my favorite (right now). Subscribe to my channel for more plant content such as this! ;)
My favorite plants right now are my monstera adansonii, my musa or banana plant and my ficus elastica tineke. I consider them my favorites for different reasons: for my monstera adansonii it is due to having it put on a moss pole previously, which impoved its look and health so much. For my ficus tineke its new growth which is coming in now for the first time since I have it in my home. And for my musa plant its because I simply love having a banana plant in my home! Additionally, it's doing very well too ;)

Welcome to my channel, where I invite you to embark on a journey that combines the tranquility of Zen philosophy with the artistic beauty of bonsai. In this video, we delve into the harmonious relationship between these two worlds, exploring how the principles of Zen seamlessly merge with the art of cultivating bonsai trees.
Bonsai, a centuries-old tradition, teaches us patience, mindfulness, and the art of simplicity – all core tenets of Zen philosophy.
I'll discuss how both Zen and bonsai celebrate the beauty of simplicity, the importance of being present in the moment, and the reverence for nature's elegant aesthetics. Discover how the act of shaping a bonsai can be a form of meditation, providing a sense of calm and inner balance.
