Megaman Battle Network 4 Blue Moon | Part 8: Begin the Blue Moon Tournament

With the danger to Earth intensifying, NAXA decides to form a tournament hoping to find the best NetBattler in the world. Time to begin the Blue Moon Tournament. Oh and if you are playing Red Sun, it's obvious.

So anyway to even enter this tournament, we arrive in a new land: Netopia. Think of it as America. But as Lan is enjoying the sights of Netopia (and they are underwhelming), he gets kidnapped and now has to find a way out. To do that, he needs to jack in and find four pieces of a key to unlock and get out. He's able to do that only to find that this was all a test. A test to qualify for the Blue Moon Tournament. To our surprise, we succeed.

Lan's first opponent is JunkMan. This navi has no operator and it's all making Mega Man all the more curious and cautious. Unfortunately their concern is realized when trouble occurs in the Yumland server. What they find is junk and eventually Mega ends up getting slammed by Junk. Ultimately he gets out but something's amiss. So Lan decides to find out and does so. Ultimately it turns out to be JunkMan possessing Mega Man. So now Lan forces “Mega Man” to find him. He does so ultimately and recovers Mega Man. It ultimately leads to a battle between Mega Man and JunkMan. However, Lan and Mega decide to find a means to help JunkMan but sadly to no avail.

JunkMan's not a joke. He loves to fire projectiles so you will need to strike hard and fast. With JunkMan defeated, Mega Man refuses. He has an understanding over his loneliness. In turn, it allows him to acquire JunkSoul.

Our tournament ain't over. The next two battles await in Part 9.

Road to King of Fighters XV Part 2: King of Fighters '95 A year after King of Fighters '94, SNK would be back with a sequel. This is The King of Fighters '95. One year after '94, Rugal Bernstein survived and now wants revenge. So he sends invites to another KOF tournament. He also took Saisyu and brainwashed him to make him her personal guard. Much of the cast from the last game are in this one, with the exception of the USA Team. Why? Because Geese Howard wanted his own team so he ordered his right hand man Billy Kane to steal the invites from the USA team. Then he has Eiji Kisaragi (from Art of Fighting 2) and newcomer Iori Yagami to form the Rivals' team. You can guess how that goes down. The game is a bit challenging but not impossible. Plus the final boss wasn't that cheap. I went with Team Japan because in canon, they're the guys that stop Saisyu and defeat Omega Rugal. oh and Rugal dies here due to using up too much of the Orochi power. So what next? GX Campaign Part 6 Season 3 continues and as far as that comes along, I fly through it without any hesitation or issues. Why? Every battle I had, I won. All the duels were tough but enough to make sure that you really need to learn how certain decks works. If done properly, you can bring in the results and the results are worth it, 100% of the time. Many of the duels were hard but you have to imagine how intense they can be. I only wished they added more duels when it came to the 2nd half of the season because there were some intense moments. A few examples include Jaden succumbing to darkness to being Supreme King Jaden or Haoh Judai, Jim and Axel's efforts to stop him, Zane's duel against the possessed Jesse and the duel between Adrian and Yubel/Jesse. The strange thing is that this game reminds me of Gradius. I like it but what makes it better is that you get to choose from one of several ships and then you travel, blow up bad guys, get powerups, etc. It's fun. Addicting and I love it. Truly. It can get tougher depending on how you fly about but the objective is the same: to reach the end. This comes out on September 29th. Super Mario RPG (Switch) Playthrough | Part 6: Head for the Seas We're heading for the seas. Before we do however, we head for Star Hill. Turns out Star Hill has the fourth Star Piece. We do get it and not without a fight either. Eventually we head for Seaside Town. Sadly things aren't as they seem. Sure we can rest up for free but all the people there seem different. Made no better by the fact that the mayor of said town wants us to get the Star Piece situated in the sea. Also there's a Frog sage upstairs where you can trade your frog coins to get some good items. I recommend getting them all especially the Exp. Booster as it can help you level up your party faster. The Flower Ring is also a very useful item. We head for the Sea afterwards and what we find is a sunken ship. A sunken ship filled with undead eyes. Of course using Pure Water on them will wipe them out. Take full advantage if you want to succeed. There are some puzzles but nothing that difficult.
