Thousands gathered at Plaza de la Constitucion in Mexico City in a bid to break the Guinness World Record for the largest boxing class, led by Mexican boxing legend Julio Cesar Chavez.
Some emphasized the importance of the event, as many locals do not have enough time or resources to practice sports.
According to local media, around 30,000 people attended the event, breaking a record set last year, when 14,299 gathered at Zocalo Square for a boxing class.
