Presuppositionalism Discussed, Hebrews 10:25, and the Trail of Blood
Over 90 minutes today starting off with a question from a friend in email about presuppositionalism that ended up going 48 minutes in length (thanks Matt!). Then I looked at two Twitter questions, one on Hebrews 10:25 and the current crisis around the world, and one about “The Trail of Blood.” We will be back tomorrow, keeping you company as we all sit around and apologize to 2019 about the things we said about it! Recorded before a live audience at G3 James discusses everything from the early days of witnessing to Mormons, Jehovah's Witnesses and Roman Catholics to more recent issues as God has blessed this work over the years.

Then listened to what Dr. MacArthur said about postmillenialism and “losing down here,” and offered a response. Hope we get to do another program, but must admit, we said more than enough on this one program to have us removed in this new era of totalitarianism and censorship.

Spent most of the program talking about the upcoming debate with Trent Horn, Staff Apologist for Catholic Answers, and how I expect the argumentation to go, etc. Then we went over the upcoming events on the trip, including the dialogue with Dr. Yasir Qadhi in the Memphis area, the Deep South Founders Conference, and my stop in Dallas for the premiere of Unpopular.

Started off with a report on our dear brother Jeff Durbin's current condition after a medical issue last evening. Then we looked at a comment from Beth Moore about how you could, I guess, make your library more "inclusive" by considering the color of the skin of the author. You can guess what I said about that. Then we went to the phones and had some great calls on the textual variant at Ephesians 5:30, on God's sovereignty and personal responsibility, a bit more on Acts 2:39, and on NT reliability. A bit over an hour today. And don't forget, we plan on doing another program on Friday as well! But I hope to make that a Radio Free Geneva episode! Stay tuned! Started off with a fairly quick review of this past week’s ministry in Florida, including comments on the debates with Imam Muhammad Musri and Dr. Gregg Strawbridge. Then we transitioned (about 22 minutes in) to a Radio Free Geneva! Spent a lot of time in the text of Scripture dealing with federal headship, walking through especially Romans 5:12-19, and then, having done that, we listened to the important sections of the dialogue/non-debate between Malcolm Yarnell and Tom Ascol from BMA Seminary in Jacksonville, Texas, which took place last week. Hopefully an important and useful two hours!

Had to tackle the gorilla story, along with the “I decided to live as a goat” story, all illustrative of what happens when your society spits in God’s face and goes it alone. Then talked a little about ReformCon this week and what I will be addressing, and finished up with a bit of a discussion about the exposure of my “hypocrisy” this past weekend.

Showed a bunch of memes today and interacted with them, mainly on Islamic issues. Then read two brief articles from Bassam Zawadi, also from Facebook, and interacted with them. Wide variety of topics, actually, hopefully helpful to more than just those who engage in ministry to Muslims. Enjoy!

Had to get the silly stuff out of the way first, so we looked at Andrew Sluder’s “KJB Numerology” where he uses verse numbers and their position in the Bible to prove its inspiration. Then we got serious and read through a Soteriology 101 article and dealt with its man-centeredness. Finished off with an RNS opinion piece that alleged that James Cone’s heresy really isn’t heresy, it is all about white power. Also had some further information about the Rome/Israel cruise and associated excursions. Visit the store at https://doctrineandlife.co/

I was joined by Capturing Christianity's Cameron Bertuzzi to talk about the Papacy and things Roman Catholic today for about seventy minutes or so. I did tack on about ten minutes at the end regarding the move toward "the Great Tradition" and "Classical Theism" at Midwestern Baptist Theological Seminary.
