This controversy with Mike Bickle and the International House of Prayer should ignite a FAR, FAR deeper conversation about whether THIS is the one and only and best KIND of "prayer movement." The truth is that God has been trying to raise up people to unite the Body throughout Church history. The Church of Kansas City NEEDS to be ONE - and Mike's vision of that was flawed and failed. Harp and Bowl prayer is nothing more then "church" as we've been doing it, except more often. IF it changes the World's opinion of us at all, it's only for the worse. In 2005 God started moving in Liberty, Missouri and leading us BE the "Church" instead of just GOING to Church. People that don't think that it SHOULD change are NOT seeing through the eyes of Jesus at all! This thing is a MESS. There are lots of folks that spend a lot of thought on how Christianity ought to change - like Frank Viola and George Barna.
