Beautiful Alcona Sky Time Lapse - Winter 2018 - UHD 4K
This is OUR Innisfil. I shot this video from my backyard in Alcona. It took me more than 2 hours to shoot 2,020 pictures that I then used to make the video. The video is made in Ultra High Definition 4K quality.
Frame rate: 30 fps Screen resolution: 3,840 X 2,160
In this video I ride on my Kawasaki Vulcan 900 Classic along the Lake Simcoe in Innisfil and show public accesses to waterfront, in other words small beaches. There are many places in Innisfil where you can easily access the Lake Simcoe. You just need to know where to look for. This video is to help you find these public, community beaches. :)

In this video I go through the steps how to activate (fill with electrolyte) and charge a new AGM (Absorbent Glass Mat) battery. I also go through all DOs and DON'Ts of the AGM battery activation and initial charge.
Battery used: Yuasa AGM Battery YTX12-BS - YUAM3RH2S (https://www.yuasabatteries.com/battery/ytx12-bs/)
Charger used: NOCO Genius G1100 (1.1A, 6V & 12V)
"When you buy an AGM battery, you either get it Factory Activated or Bottle Supplied.
If you have a Factory Activated battery, it is filled with electrolyte, sealed and charged. In this case you just install it on your bike, and you are done. You don’t need to watch this video further then. Instead check another one where I show how to install the battery on the bike.

I have a dry battery with the electrolyte supplied in the plastic container. Before you activate the battery make sure that a foil sealing strip is in place with no damages. When you unseal it, you need to activate and charge it right away otherwise it will begin to oxidize that is not good for the battery.
Activation of the AGM battery is pretty straight forward, but you need to keep in mind a couple things to make it right.
- Never use anything else to activate the battery other than the supplied container with the electrolyte. It has a high concentration of sulfuric acid, more concentrated that the electrolyte for conventional batteries, and it would be unsafe to use something else. Supplied containers also have exact amount of the electrolyte required.
- Make sure you read the instructions that came with the battery.
- Never smoke when you activate the battery.
- Wear gloves and protective eye wear.
Steps to activate the battery:
- Put the battery on a level surface.
- Remove the electrolyte container from the plastic bag.
- Remove the strip of caps from the container, don’t through it away as we will use it later. Do not pierce or open the foil seal from the electrolyte container. Do not separate the containers one from another.
- Place the electrolyte container with the foil seals face down into the cell filler ports on the battery, hold the container level and carefully push it down to break the foil seals. Electrolyte will start to flow into the battery. You should see air bubbles inside the container. Do not tilt the container. Electrolyte is flowing, so we are good. If no air bubbles are coming up, tap the container slightly, don’t tilt it.
- Leave it for 20 min.
- After 20 minutes check if container cells emptied completely. If not slightly tap the container or battery a few times, so electrolyte flows into the battery again. Do not remove the container until it is completely empty.
- When it is empty,

This controversial InnPower Sculpture looked cool under strong wind in the heavy rain. The sculpture looked alive. I shoot this time lapse today during the sunset.
Community Landmark (Sculpture) project was initiated as a direct result of the work and effort of our community through the voices heard during the Inspiring Innisfil 2020 community strategic plan. One of the major strategic initiatives identified the desire of this community to "grow and empower arts, culture & heritage substantially." A national search was conducted for a proposal that incorporated our culture and heritage. A piece by local area artist Ron Baird was chosen that represented the sun, the wind and water, the very elements that have shaped this community (https://www.innpower.ca/news-article.php?id=18).

I review and compare Mustang Wide Touring seat with a backrest for Kawasaki Vulcan 900 Classic with the stock seat. I made this video to show in details how it compares with the original OEM seat. You may need to make some adjustments as it moves you back and up a bit.
It has a lot of details some people may consider unnecessary, but this video was driven by the questions from other riders. Most folks read it somewhere that the seat fits the bike perfectly, it is rather expensive than cheap, but it is of great quality. It definitely rides much better than stock. At the same time people still don't know how it impact sitting position. Does it move up, down, back, etc. Do they need to make any additional adjustments to make it work. There are many variables here. It might make it worse for tall riders, and be great from the get go for shorter ones. I just wanted to add some details, so people could decide for themselves if they want to go for it. Thank you and ride safe!

In this video I am talking about the best timing and speed for the gear shifting on the Kawasaki Vulcan 900, how it compares with what is recommended by the Kawasaki Owner's Manual, how it impacts the bike's performance and riding safety and last but not least about if you really need the 6th gear on your Vulcan 900.
I've seen a lot of discussions on various motorcycle forums about what the best timing and speed to switch gears are. There is a lot of different opinions, but I'm going to tell you what I do when I ride and why.
