Fresh Cheese & Spring Onion

Yield: 7 mufins
Ingredients
164 grams Plan flour
6 grams baking powder
125 grams milk
110 grams eggs, lightly beaten { 2 lge eggs }
62 grams butter, melted
12 grams caster sugar
Mixed Cheese 80 grams
Spring Onions 40 grams
Directions
Preheat the oven to 180c fan.
Line muffin tins with paper liners.
Sift the flour, baking powder, & sugars together in a large bowl. Stir with your hand to be sure the ingredients are combined. mix the milk, eggs & then melted butter. Make a well in the middle of the dry mixture, pour the wet mixture into the well, and fold until just combined. There will be some lumps but don't overmix, Add the cheese & spring onions fold in gently to combine.
Topping : with mixed cheese
Using a 1/3 cup, or spoon the batter into the muffin cups to fill the liners dont over fill . Bake for 18 minutes, until a cake tester comes out clean and the tops are nicely browned.
Cool on a baking wire, and eat Laters ?

how to Recipe Demonstration at Bakery
Makes 36
Recipe Ingredients:
White Flour 908g
Water 113g
Castor sugar 226g
Cake margarine 226g
White shortening 226g
Homemade or shop sweet mincemeat
Method:
1. Preheat the oven to 380 F – 400 f
2. Sieve flour into a bowl
3. Add the fat into the flour
4. Now work the fat into the flour, now making a nice fine crumb
5. Now make a well in the middle
6. Now with a 2nd bowl add in water & mix in the caster sugar
7. Now add in the mixed water & sugar into to flour
8. Now mix lightly into a pastry, not bread dough
9. Now finish on the table
10. Now with 1 part of the pastry shape into a ball
11. Now roll out with rolling pin to about 3 - 4 mm
12. Using a knife under the pastry to remove from table
13. Now you are ready to cut out the bases
14. Spray your tray with some oil, and now pop in the pastry
15. Now fill up with homemade or bought sweet mincemeat
16. Now roll out some more pastry for lids, or stars shapes
17. Now ready for baking
18. Now bake at 380 - 400 f for about 15 -20 min, golden brown
19. Well done bakers now ready, just one thing pop some caster sugar on the tops

Makes 20 Slices
Ingredients
454g Salted butter
226g caster sugar
622g plain flour
Pinch of Salt
Baking Tray 40cm x 29cm
Baking Paper
Method
1. Preheat the oven to 160c – 170c
2. Beat the butter and the sugar together on 2nd speed until smooth and light in colour.
3. Mix in flour, salt on 1 speed to get a smooth paste. Turn out on to the tray gently roll out until the paste is level
4. now you are ready to bake
5. Place baking tray into the middle of the oven
6. Bake in the oven for 20 - 25 minutes, or until pale golden-brown. Set aside to cool on a wire rack.
7.Now cool down for 60 minutes.
Now for the Caramel topping :
Ingredients : 1000g Condensed milk, 250g butter, 250g dark brown soft sugar
melt butter and brown sugar on a hob gently stirring all the time, now add in the condensed milk and bring to the boil stirring all the time, now it's started to boil, keep stirring and boil until it goes thick, this can take 5 mins, once it has thicken , pour over the base, Cool down in a fridge, when cooled melt your chocolate about 500g - 600g for the top chill until set, remove from tray and cut up very tasty

Bake The Perfect Scotch Baps Like A Pro At 2024 Bakery!
SCOTCH BAPS: Recipe as it was in the 1940's
makes 120 baps
Straight Dough Method
10 lb. Flour (Top Grade).
6 oz. Lard.
2.5 quarts Milk and Water.
2 oz.Sugar.
2.5 oz. Salt.
0.5 oz. EDMEDRI. Diastatic Malt Flour
8 oz. Yeast
2024 Recipe Ingredients: makes 12 baps
600g strong white bread flour
10g salt
5g EDMEDR Diastatic Malt Flour
10g sugar
10g softened Lard
10g instant yeast fresh yeast 20g
300ml warm milk
150ml warm water
Allow to stand I hour, then give a good knock-back.
Continue to stand another 1/2 hour, then proceed to scale
and mould.
Method of Manipulation. In Scotland and Ireland
these baps are invariably baked on the sole of the oven ;
quite as good a job can be made, however, if they are baked
on trays. For small baps scale at 2 to 3 oz. each, mould
round, then roll under the hand to make oval. Finally,
gently pin out to about 3 inches by 2 inches. Lay on board
(which has previously been dusted with rice flour) close
together and brush over with water ; they are then lifted
and pressed on to the rice and placed on the trays to prove.
No steam must be used for proving. If the thumb or finger
is pressed into the centre of the bap before setting it will
prevent the formation of blister so common to this type
of roll. The oven for baking these goods should be 500°F.
Bake till the baps feel hard, they will become velvety soft
on cooling.

Hi folks welcome to the day's video, today I am making Iced mincemeat tarts this recipe is very old from before 1940's, In the video I showed you how to make up the pastry, then I have links to making the mincemeat & fondant if you want it, at the end we have the finished iced mincemeat tarts, this is a very easy recipe to follow check out the description for a recipe enjoy Laters ?

Makes 12
Recipe Ingredients:
white Flour plan 226 grams
water 14 grams
castor sugar 28 grams
butter or marg 56 grams
white shorting 56 grams
sweet mincemeat about 200 grams

or topping 5 tbsp warm water and about 350 grams of icing sugar
Method:
Preheat the oven to 380 F – 400 f
Sieve flour into a bowl, Add the fat into the flour & work the fat into the flour to make a nice fine crumb, make a well in the middle & add in the water & sugar mixture, mix lightly into a pastry, not a bread dough finish on the table, shape into a ball, roll out with rolling pin to about 3 - 4 mm, Using a knife under the pastry to remove from table, you are ready to cut out the bases 750 mm cutter, best to use Yorkshire pudding tray, Spray your tray with some oil, and now pop in the pastry
part fill up with homemade or bought sweet mincemeat, Now ready for baking
Now bake at 380 - 400 f or fan 200 - 210 c for about 15 -20 min, golden brown
and for the topping after the tarts have cooled down, add water to a bowl & add in the icing sugar mixing round all the time until nice and smooth, just pipe over the top
