If you match up the greatest art with the greatest music, what happens? The theme of part 5 is "war and mortality," with some very martial paintings and music followed by introspective or sad, with themes about age and death. I took 50-60 of the greatest paintings and statues (appropriate for children), and matched them up with some of the greatest themes from classical music--from 15 to 20 seconds. Here's the result.
These are going to be "interludes" for WatchKnow Reader (see larrysanger dot org for details).

Two glorious Donegal highlands—not gloriously played by me, but they are great old tunes. The first was learned via Con Cassidy and I think the second is a Mickey Doherty version. Here is Altan playing the first (pretty much the same setting): https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9Vo6fvkv5WQ Here is Tommy Peoples playing a different (but very nice) setting of the second: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OBF5lRl5wF0&index=66&list=PL-0VYlEJg0ClDR1HNQ8wJVJWCJZluvGHL

The strings were brand new so sounded a little weak I guess. The audio sometimes cut out, also, due to the bad streaming. Later videos in this series are recorded in advance so shouldn't have this problem.

The last Two of a bunch of reels, mostly, that James Byrne recorded for me about 20 years ago. Played with a recording of him, then taught slowly.
