Max and I spoke on April 15, 2020. We discussed the genocidal sanctions that, despite the global COVID-19 pandemic, the U.S. continues to impose on Iran and Venezuela; the implosion of Bernie Sanders' presidential campaign; the collapse of the American electoral system; the U.S. national security state; and a bit more.
Thanks for tuning in!

This episode (#10) is the first in a Facts on the Ground deep-dive series in which we’ll investigate the silent genocide of missing and murdered indigenous women and girls (or MMIWG) in the U.S. and Canada—a pandemic that’s plagued the Northern Hemisphere for decades now, but which receives no coverage in mainstream media and scant attention from independent media.
We’re honored to begin our series with Liza Black, who joined us to unpack the historical context of the crisis of missing and murdered indigenous women and girls.
Liza is a citizen of the Cherokee Nation and an assistant professor of history and Native American and Indigenous studies at Indiana University, Bloomington. Her book "Picturing Indians: Native Americans in Film, 1941-1960" is available online for pre-sale and will be released in October of this year. Her second book is underway and focuses on the history of missing and murdered Indigenous women and girls.

Independent researcher and writer Moss Robeson joins us again, this time to discuss the labyrinthine network of Stepan Bandera-affiliated Ukrainian-American nationalist and neo-Nazi organizations that are rallying behind both Trump and Biden in the 2020 election. This episode is the first in a series based on Moss' three-part reporting on recent U.S. Bandera-lobby election-related activities.
