October 31, 2017 marked 500 years since Martin Luther nailed his 95 Theses to the door of the church at Wittenburg. To commemorate, we hosted a panel discussion between Catholic Aaron and Protestant Collin on the topic of sola fide (faith alone). Are Christians justified by faith in Christ alone and not of themselves or does justification require works?

Zach and Andrew interview Dr. Michael G. Strauss, professor of physics at the University of Oklahoma, about his book The Creator Revealed: A Physicist Examines the Big Bang and the Bible. In the first half of the conversation, we discuss scientific evidence for the existence of God from (i) big bang cosmology and (ii) the fine-tuning of the universe. Then, we talk about how to faithfully integrate the findings of science with scripture and whether evolution poses a threat to Christian belief. Lastly, Dr. Strauss offers advice for college students exploring the big questions of life.
During the interview, Dr. Strauss refers to astrophysicist Dr. Luke Barnes whom we previously interviewed here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=q8Bmq6oE3BI

Recent years have seen a slew of high profile Christians publicly renouncing their faith, deconverting, and/or deconstructing. Unfortunately, many of these "Exvangelicals" have received nasty responses and even many well-meaning people have unintentionally responded offensively. What is the healthy way to approach the issue of deconstruction? What can be learned from these public figures? Do the phenomena of deconstructions and deconversions provide evidence against Christianity?
In this meeting, we discuss excerpts from the deconstructions of Rhett & Link and @Paulogia. The full length sources for these excerpts can be found below.

Stay tuned for Part 2 and Part 3 of our interview where we discuss the particulars of intelligent design and Dr. Swamidass's new book The Genealogical Adam & Eve.
