The national bird of El Salvador was declared as such by a legislative compromise that was approved on October 21, 1999.
This bird is also known in some places as the “talapo” because it received the honor of popularity for its singular beauty, which is observed in their plumage of many beautiful colors.
The Torogoz is a bird that does not adapt well to captivity, it means that you can’t have it locked at home, also this bird is a symbol of family unity because reflects the participation in partners in the care of their chicks babies.
Therefore, that was taken to the culture thanks to the national bird of the country.
Despite being considered as a species in danger of extinction in El Salvador, you can see them in some mountainous areas of the north-eastern part of the country, as in Morazán, La Union and in Chalatenango.

Desde el Gobierno del presidente Nayib Bukele venían trabajando en una billetera la cual facilita el uso de BTC en los ciudadanos. Luego de su lanzamiento esta semana y denominada, Chivo Wallet se convirtió en la aplicación de finanzas número 1 en la tienda de descarga de Apple, con tan solo ocho horas desde que se incluyó en la App Store.

El Salvador instala cajeros Chivo en EE.UU. para promover remesas sin comisiones.
El Gobierno del El Salvador confirmó anoche que han instalado 50 cajeros Chivo en 10 ciudades de Estados Unidos, en donde pretende impulsar su uso como medio para el envío de remesas.
En EE.UU. los cajeros Chivo están repartidos en las ciudades de Los Ángeles, San Francisco (California), El Doral (Florida), Atlanta (Georgia), Chicago (Illinois), Dallas, El Paso, Houston, Laredo, McAllen (Texas), los que se suman a los 250 instalados en el territorio salvadoreño.
El gobierno espera que el uso del bitcoin contribuya a la bancarización de la población y capte los más de 400 millones de dólares de comisiones por las remesas que los salvadoreños envían desde el extranjero a través de entidades financieras.
