AmazonBasics Professional USB Condenser Microphone Review / Test
Today we’re looking at another new budget USB condenser microphone from AmazonBasics, the AmazonBasics Professional USB Condenser Microphone. This is clearly trying to copy the Blue Yeti, Samson G-Track Pro, and the M-Audio Uber mic, but it fails miserably. This is a perfect example of throwing too many features in one device, and not mastering any of them. I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS MICROPHONE! But in case you don’t care what I think, feel free to use my affiliate links below ?

Today I review one of the cheapest mics I've covered that sounds fantastic. This thing is small, portable, affordable, and feature rich. It may be out dated and have a number of flaws, but if you're able to get this at a good price, and you don't have the budget or desire to go above this, I think you'll be fine.

Today we’re looking at a brand new microphone form Blue (or Logitech), the Yeti Nano. This is a compact version of the Blue Yeti without the Stereo or Bi-directional polar pattern options, but it’s still compatible with Windows and Mac OSX.

Today I review and do an audio test of the Neumann TLM 102. This mic is a professional condenser mic that sounds excellent on everything I threw at it. If you are looking to up your music game, get a new primary studio mic, or do voice over work in a treated room, then this mic may be perfect for you.

Today I re-review the Shure SM7b after 6 years of use. If you are looking for a very easy to listen to mic for spoken word that's on the darker side, this thing is great. If you're looking for a music studio workhorse, this is great. However, it is a very quiet mic so make sure your interface's preamps can drive it.
Paid Promotion Selected because I received Earthworks Ethos free of charge to review it. I was not paid, compensated, or required to include it in this video. I just thought it was interesting to include. Now I have to click that stupid paid promo button.

Today we compare the Neumann TLM102 and Neumann TLM103 to determine what the differences are and which one I like the best. On the TLM103 you’ll find 6dB higher output signal, 5db lower self noise, a less drastic bass roll off (high pass) and more prominent presence and air frequencies. The TLM103 is also significantly less "microphonic", meaning it picks up less bumps from the desk and bumps of the microphone/boom arm.
MISSING FROM VIDEO: I should have mentioned that I think both microphones sound great, but have a rather different tone to them. The conclusion here was difficult for me to arrive at. I had to be very picky to decide, and I even switched the conclusion a few times. What it really will come down to your personal preference in terms of which tone you like more.

Today I review the US-42: Maybe the best USB audio interface for livestreaming on twitch or youtube. It doesn't have the best preamps, build, or presets, but it has a LOT of features that would make for an interesting live stream. I don't recommend it for any professional applications.
