Jacob Blake regrets picking up the knife that he says fell out of his pocket during a struggle with a Kenosha police officer on Aug. 23.
“I shouldn’t have picked it up, only, considering what was going on,” Blake said in the interview. “At the time I wasn’t thinking clearly.”
Blake was shot seven times by Kenosha Police Officer Rusten Sheskey Aug. 23. He told his side of the story in an interview with ABC's Michael Strahan.
On Jan. 5, Kenosha County District Attorney Michael Graveley decided not to charge any officers involved in the Blake shooting. He also is not charging Blake with any crimes related to the incident.

Derek Chauvin, the former Minneapolis police officer, has been sentenced to 22 and 1/2 years in prison for the murder of George Floyd. Judge Peter Cahill of Hennepin County District Court handed down the sentence, which fell short of prosecutors' request of 30 years in prison.
In April, Chauvin was convicted of second-degree unintentional murder, third-degree murder and second-degree manslaughter. Chauvin has been held at the state's only maximum-security prison. Hours before the hearing, the judge denied Chauvin's motion for a new trial, saying his attorney failed to prove abuses from the court as well as prosecutorial or juror misconduct.
Chauvin now has 60 days to appeal his sentence with the Minnesota Court of Appeals.

Mollie Tibbett was found murdered in July of 2019. Molly went out for a jog in a small town of Iowa and never came home. Cristhian Rivera is accused of abducting and fatally stabbing Tibbetts and leaving her body in a cornfield.
In a hearing, an Iowa judge ruled that some of Cristhians statements to the police are inadmissible. However, they will still be able to use the part of the confession which he led them to her body.

A 19-year-old Kenosha man who told police he bought a rifle for his friend Kyle Rittenhouse — and who drove Rittenhouse back to Antioch, Ill. after the teen is alleged to have killed two people in Kenosha — is facing felony charges for his role in providing the gun used in the shootings.
Dominick Black has been charged with two counts of intentionally giving a dangerous weapon to someone under 18 causing death.
At Black’s initial appearance Monday, Kenosha County Assistant District Attorney Tom Binger said Black “has generally been cooperative with police,” had provided police with the weapons involved and said he has no past criminal record. He requested the bond be set at $2,500, and said that based on discussions with Black’s attorney that that bond would be posted.
Black is expected to return to court Nov. 19 for a preliminary hearing.
