http://www.vintageisthenewold.comPublished by Amiga Fun Magazine in 1990
This platformer was given away as a free game on a cover disk accompanying November '90 issue of the Amiga Fun magazine.
The magazine didn't last long, but the game found itself released into the wild, ending up on public domain disks and downloads.
I had a copy of the game back in the day (handwritten label...), and it's only real problem was being really tough.
All the levels leading up to the castle are pretty formulaic, but the castle itself is a maze of interconnecting doors and chambers that prove more taxing. It's also possible to end up in dead end of you run out of keys, which is annoying.
For a free game, this is actually a pretty decent release; I've played far worse commercial titles.
