Final Fantasy VIII Remaster 39 - On with the Show & The mobile Garden
Our party continues to bumble around FH and the recently beached Balamb Garden trying to raise spirits and get the Garden moving once more (only this time hopefully we won't crash into another town). Looks like the Garden Festival is in ruins due to the abrupt departure in order to avoid the missiles. Looks like the gang are going to put on a concert to try and get Squall and Rinoa closer together. After a night of fun, music and romance the Garden is ready to move again and now the real fun begins! ... https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=eC8ynjgNgK0

This is a pretty cool rogue-like dungeon crawler RPG for the Game Gear, also released for the Master System in other regions of the world. It can be pretty brutal if you don't play around with the game a few times. Excellent fun.
Also, before someone comments (not like this will stop the comments) but yes I only realized you could check for false walls and run late in the game. Honestly even after I realized I could run I found my walking speed adequate and never used it much. Checking for false walls, however, ended up being essential to finishing the game.

We make our way through the rest of the cave and mountain and find the man who was shadowing us - Vargas! Vargas was the son of the master martial artist and trainer, Duncan, who had also been training Edgar's brother Sabin at the same time. I say all that in the past tense because Vargas has killed his own father, thinking his father had chosen Sabin as his favorite.
Well we destroy that guy and make it to the Returners hideout and meet Banon, the leader of the rebel group. Everyone decides that Terra, thanks to her ability to use magic, is the key to stopping the Empire. Before we have too much time to make plans, we find out the Empire knows of the hideout is on their way to clean us. Time to make a getaway using the nearby river.

Sonic Jam for the Sega Saturn was a compilation of all the Genesis Sonic games that also includes a 3D world for Sonic to play in.
Instead of straight porting the games, Sega actually re-programmed the games to run on Sega Saturn. They also included a couple new modes and difficulty levels. This is a full playthrough of the first Sonic game in "Normal" mode.
In this version they even give Sonic the spindash in Sonic 1. Nice.
Can you spot the differences between this version and the original Genesis version?
