The world is full of beautiful things! things that have been formed over thousands of years, wind and water slowly sculpting a masterpiece for us to marvel at and enjoy! then along comes a big dumb tourist and ruins it for everyone! Here are 6 Amazing Natural Wonders DESTROYED by Idiot Tourists!
1. Islas Baleares, Spain
The island of Sa Porrassa, also known as Black lizard island is an uninhabited island in Majorca and a popular stop for tourists, that is until 2 teenage tourists from Scotland set it on fire. The two teenagers hired a pedalo to get to the island and one of them threw his cigarette butt into the scrubs. 1.5 hectares were burnt and two helicopters were needed to put out the blaze. The teenagers claimed it was an accident and no charges were pressed.
2. Goblin Valley, Utah
This valley features thousands of Hoodoos, which are mushroom-shaped rock formations that the locals call "Goblins". These "Goblins" are believed to be 170 million years old and although they had withstood the pass of time unfortunately they couldn't withstand the pass of 2 boy scout leaders who decided that the goblin was a health risk to the boy scouts and pushed it over.
These "scout leaders" were dismissed from the national boy scouts and received a sentence of one-year probation and a fine.
3. Raja Ampat, Indonesia
The Coral Reef at Raja Ampat is perhaps the richest in biodiversity, that was until the 90-meter cruise ship Caledonian Sky, fully equipped with GPS and Radar systems somehow ran aground in the reef at low-tide, to make matters worse, instead of waiting for high tide, a tug boat was sent out to drag the cruise ship off the reef, causing even greater damage.
An estimated 17,000sqft of the reef was destroyed. A team of academics and environmentalists estimated that the damage to Indonesia was in excess of $18 million and the reef would take decades to recover!
4. Duckbill Rock, Oregon
At Cape Kiwanda State National Park there used to be a peculiar hoodoo rock formation that was a popular tourist attraction because it looked like a duckbill. even though the area was fenced off many people would jump the fence to take photos or videos, as did this group of vandals, who despite having filmed their act of vandalism still haven't been caught. Even if they were caught and prosecuted they would probably only be fined $435 for "Vandalizing a park".
5. Cliffs of Moher, Ireland
9 miles long and up to 214 meters tall the cliffs of Moher are an impressive sight. The cliffs have appeared in numerous films, such as "The Princess Bride" and "Harry Potter" and attract around 1.5 million tourists a year. unfortunately, they also attracted the attention of a group of french "Artists" who decided to graffiti an 8 by 6-foot section of the cliffs. These "Artists" weren

The average cruise is 7 days long.
The average ship has 3000 guests
The average guest will produce around 3kg of poop!
That's 9 tonnes of poop that have to be dealt with, and that's not including urine or the water needed to flush it all away!
Of course, it could just all go in the sea as fish poop does, but apparently, dumping human poop in the sea could upset the ocean's natural bacterial balance.
This means that 9000 kilos of poop and over half a million liters of wastewater have to be processed onboard the cruise ship.
1. Down the Tubes.
It all starts with that first flush, your waste gets sucked away using a vacuum waste system to reduce the amount of precious water used on each flush.
2. Black Water System
Your waste enters the black water system.
A cruise ship has two wastewater systems: The gray water system that deals with cleaner wastewater, like laundry, shower, and basin waste, and the black water system that deals with, well.... The black stuff.
3. Prefilter
The waste travels through the waste pipework down into the bowels of the ship where it passes through a basic filter that removes the matter that can't be processed on board. this matter is stored until the ship docks where it is then taken off onto land and processed.
4. Aeration Chamber
The waste that made it through the first filter enters an aeration chamber.
In this chamber, air is blown in to aeriate the wastewater in order to encourage oxygen-hungry aerobic bacteria to begin breaking down the waste matter.
5. Settlement Chamber.
Next the waste enters the settlement chamber. Here the waste is left to... yep, you guessed it, settle!
In this chamber the denser waste falls to the bottom and is sent back to the aeration chamber to repeat the process, the lighter matter forms a scum layer that floats on top, this layer is slowly broken down by anaerobic bacteria (smaller bacteria that don't require oxygen).
The water in the middle area is now relatively clean and can move on to the next chamber.
6. Sterilization Chamber.
In this chamber the "Clean" water undergoes a sterilization process.
Different companies use different methods for sterilization, chlorine is used sometimes but it is generally thought that it could be a risk to marine life, the most common method used is UV light.
7. Dumping.
Now the water is sterilized and clean enough, it can be released into the sea, however, there are various rules and regulations about how fast the ship should be traveling when dumping wastewater and how far away from land it should be. The commonly agreed distance is around 12 nautical miles.

Don't Use A Phony Irish Accent
The locals hate it!
Don't Order Corned Beef and Cabbage
This is not the national dish of Ireland. It was a creation made up by Americans and is something they eat on St. Patrick’s Day. In Ireland this meal doesn't really exist, if you do find it on a menu, you can be sure its a restaurant that caters to tourists.
7. Don’t Skip Your Round
In Irish pubs it’s a common practice to order drinks in rounds. For example, if you’re with a group of four people, everyone in the group takes turns buying a round of drinks.

The State Department may not think it’s a great idea, but you can still totally travel to Iran. Most people there are quite friendly, and if sand is your thing, the country itself can be stunningly beautiful. Just don't dance!
1. It’s Like ‘Footloose’ Over There
Western music is strictly forbidden; no tapping, dancing, head bobbing, or anything of the sort is allowed in public. A group of young Iranians were actually sentenced to 91 lashes and jail time for dancing to Pharell’s “Happy”.
2. Getting Away With Murder
According to the Iranian legal system, if you commit murder, you could get off scot free if you have enough money to settle with the family. Usually, the price paid for murdering a woman is half that of murdering a man.
3. No Touching!
Even if you’re married, just holding hands in public can be considered an incredible breach of etiquette. Touching between non-married, non-family is strictly forbidden, so don’t extend a handshake while there.
4. No Wild Animal Sex
It’s completely illegal to have sex with wild animals. But isn’t that a perfectly normal law? Of course! However, it is legal to make love to domesticated animals. That’s just good sense; you don’t know where wild animals have been.
5. Headgear Is Mandatory
The Iranian government legally enforces women to wear a hijab in public, including a roosari, manteau or chador.
Even the mannequins in Iran must have their heads and curves “appropriately” covered.
6. It’s the Nose Job Capital of the World
Despite the ban on fashion magazines, vanity is alive and well in Iran. In fact, the country has the highest rate of rhinoplasty on the planet. They have seven times as many nose job procedures as Americans.
7. Alcohol is Illegal
However there are some locals that still enjoy a nip of the good stuff from time to time, just like in the days of the American Prohibition.
8. Cutting Ties
If you’re on a business trip to Iran, you might want to leave the suit and tie at home. There is an official guideline not to wear these symbols of Western business.
9. Watch Your 'Do
Having any kind of weird or unorthodox haircut is strictly outlawed, In fact, Iran’s Cultural Ministry published a list of approved hairstyles to eliminate Western hairstyles like ponytails, mullets, and spiky ‘dos.
10. Getting Away with Rape
Though the vast majority of the country’s people are decent, awful things do happen in Iran. When sexual assault occurs, the burden is placed on the woman to prove that she actually was raped and if she cannot adequately prove it, she may be charged with adultery which is a capital crime.
Which of their rules did you was the worst?

Are you planning a trip to Japan? The Japanese are relatively reserved and you probably won’t even realize that you’re offending them unless you follow this quick guide of things NOT to do in Japan.
1. Don’t Wear Shoes in the House
They simply don’t want the dirt from the outside being trekked all over their clean floors and tatami mats.
2. Don’t Forget the Toilet Slippers
The Japanese have a dedicated set of slippers for toilet usage. Every foreigner forgets to remove these at some point.
3. Don’t Expect Western Toilets
If you’re lucky, you may encounter one these Super Toilets. However, many places in Japan still have this. A hole in the ground.
4. Don’t Bathe Dirty
These deep “ofuro” tubs are NOT for cleaning! Get in AFTER you’ve already showered as several people may take a turn in the same hot water.
5. Don't Show Your Tattoos
Tatoos are associated with Yakuza gangsters, so you'll often see "no tattoo" signs at pools, hotsprings, gyms and resorts.
6. Don’t Misuse Chopsticks
Here are a few chopstick etiquette rules:
Don’t wave them, drum, sword-fight, point at people, poke food, stand upright, pass food, stab food, pull dishes, lick, cross them or lay them like bridge.
7. Don’t Be Afraid to Slurp and Burp
Japanese will sip, slurp, and even audibly burp throughout the meal as a polite sign that they are enjoying it!
8. Don’t Pour Your Own Drink
The custom is to keep each OTHERS’ glasses full. It's challenging to keep tabs on how much you’re imbibing when someone else is constantly refilling your glass! Kanpai!
9. Stop Spreading the Germs
If you’re sick in public wear a surgical mask!
10. Don’t Point to Your Chest for “Me”
In Japan the gesture is to point to one’s nose!
11. Avoid the Number Four
Four is a very superstitious number in Japan, akin to unlucky 13. It is pronounced ‘shi’ in Japanese, which has the same sound as their word for death.
12. Don’t Assume Yes means Yes
Although "hi" translates to “yes”, it's more of a “uhuh, I hear you” kind of utterance. Don’t assume they’ve agreed with what your are saying. Also the Japanese rarely use a precise “no”. They prefer a subtle "maybe." or “we’ll try our best”. 'No' is considered too direct and confrontational. Yes and no questions can get very confusing.
Now you know what NOT to do, enjoy your stay in this fascinating country.

The platypus is a revolutionary nautical concept for exploration of shallow waters. This semi-submersible watercraft can navigate either on or under the water.
It looks like a trimaran with a central float - called "pod" - connected to the lateral floats by rocker arms
can immerse the pod and passengers to a depth of 2 meters for underwater navigation, the lateral hulls remaining at the surface with the engines.
Powered by two outboard motors, the boat is designed to be powered by electrical or gas engines.
It is accessible and usable for both surface navigation and immersion. Breathing is ensured by the platypus so there is no need for air tank!
Transportable in a container or trailer, the platypus consists of standard and reliable marine components, the maintenance is therefore easy.
The concept has been patented internationally since october 2009.
The cockpit is located on the back of the pod so that the pilot can drive the craft and permanently monitor the passengers.
To certify the craft as a standard boat and ensure optimum safety, the cockpit is equipped with a digital periscope (*) a digital system consisting of a waterproof screen and surface cameras providing a 360° viewing angle
on demand a cockpit can be mounted on the rear platform.
To ensure passenger safety, platypus is automatically equipped with caged propellers on the engines.
François-alexandre bertrand i inventor of platypus, founder & ceo of platypus craft
platypus craft is a French company founded in 2009, expert in the design and development of innovative watercraft dedicated to recreation and yacht markets.
