I loved how this turned out! My base paint (some are calling it the pillow paint) is acrylic Titanium White with one part paint and two parts Floetrol. I used a purple and blue – also mixed one part paint to two parts Floetrol. For the “cell activator” I used the same Titanium White – but added just about 3 drops of treadmill belt silicone oil. I added just a few drops of the “activator” in between EACH layer of each color of paint! Hope you will give it a try! Hey ya'll! I used 4 colors on this project - indigo blue, metallic copper, metallic gold and metallic bronze. I purposely wanted a separation of colors on this one -- so I made a dirty pour of all 4 colors for part of the canvas and only 3 (all except the blue) on the other part. This allowed for the definition of blue showing up when I used the string pull. I used Floetrol (about a 1 to 1 1/2 ratio in each paint). Pretty cool color combo with lots of possibilities!
