A new enemy appears here and is slated to be far more than it actually was. Sadly, it doesn't end here, so we will need to spend the next map actually bringing the dragon completely down. ... https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_Ra1jdbzIzE
We are greeted with this scene at the beginning of the Middle Ages. Sadly, we aren't the one to do it to the elder Watanabe ourselves. With this, there is only a single "scene" left to get, which will be in the final chapter. The end is nigh...

Hal has a showdown with Barton where he has to convince him to at least set aside his plan for the time being in order to keep the Lunar Surface going. And should this fail, everyone may be forced to go back to Earth. Maybe Hal could go straight to Mars since he is already in space...

With this, the trilogy has come to a close. We're kind of up-to-date on the economic blunders of Earth with Enron and Wall Street behind us, but there is time for more blunders to take place, so maybe one day we will see a fourth game. Overall, I'm not too much of a fan of this one in particular, which might be due to its historical precedent being really recent and not exactly over yet. Despite that, I'd still be interested in something the author does in the future, even though judging from this and then Spice and Wolf, the author is interested in the finer points of economics and there might be some overlap. Due to the fear most people (at least in the west) have of numbers, I don't really see these things ever becoming mainstream even though it might be somewhat informative to the average person. In the end, it is kind of a shame too, as I think there is actually value in playing these if you want an entertaining introduction to some of the basics of the stock market.
I was not aware at the start of the video that this was the finale, but it became increasingly clearer as more and more Mega Mechas burst through the fog. This time we do not have the whole crew to help us smack down those advanced units, but we can set all sorts of indirect fire traps to thin them out while we make our advance. The challenges mean that we have to take territory without losing it while not suiciding into the enemy. With a nice skilled indirect fire wall, it is a lot simpler than it may sound. The hard part is actually destroying enough in one turn to get that perfect power score.
So with this, the latest DLC is complete. Due to the missing heroes, I am assuming another one is still in the works, but nothing has been revealed as of this video. Overall, I am pretty satisfied with how things went. There wasn't really anything ground breaking here, and I wish that there are more enemy COs in future games for more variety and to force different tactics on various missions, but this could be the start of a really good strategy franchise. I am looking forward to whatever the devs do next, so now we just need to wait and see.

The group is together and for our first excursion, we need to investigate a dig site that was compromised from the earthquake. Overall, nothing too complicated here as we have yet to get the majority of the tools for the different puzzles, but there are areas we do not have access to without them, so we will need to return here later to finish looting the place. However, when the excursion is done, our journey with the princess seems to have come to a halt as she needs to return to the castle. Will our dynamic duo be able to proceed without her?

The common route comes to an end here and we need to decide which course of action to take. Apparently, there is an ideal order, so we will be following that and seeing where it leads us. Otherwise, until we make that choice, we get to spend more time with both Severine and Rose, giving them one last chance to make their cases.

Going into this, I was hoping for something similar to the mech fighting minigame found in Xenogears, but instead this is very clumsy and sluggish. Ultimately, it is probably closer to how real mech combat would be like with physics dampening everything. It doesn't really make for a very fun game though, so I am hoping the next level is the finale. Cross your fingers boys.

Opting to bail without consulting Shizuka, we find ourselves on a beach with the volleyball game you see in the thumbnail taking place. Sadly, I don't see a place for Dai in this paradise...

Here we are in our second to last part, and we have to answer for the crimes we committed and were stupid enough to document. Part of me wonders if there is a limit to the number of things Casey can grill you on, because going after the Dark Hero may be an all day affair, if not an entire week killer.
We also go to the bachelorette party and set things up for a finale that will hit you (or Sam) like a bullet to the brain. Stay tuned.

Peace never seems to last, and Sturm is back with lackeys in tow. Flak has attacked Orange Star and we need to get the group back together to drive him out. Due to how short the intro missions are, I have one for Andy, Sami, and Max so we can enter the game properly in the next video.
Flak is a weird mix of Nell and Sonja in that he can get lucky at times and unlucky at others. Due to his lack of consistency, he just isn't a good pick. What is even stranger is that his AI can be erratic at times, making it a little difficult to anticipate his moves, and he can't always mount effective counters.
