Pryce is one of the Johto Leaders in the Pokémon World Tournament that can be battled in either the Johto Leaders or World Leaders Tournaments. Pryce is skilled in using Ice type Pokémon. Mamoswine will use Rock Slide and Icicle Crash to make opponents flinch. Jynx will use Psychic with a Psychic Gem taking effect for once. Dewgong will use Perish Song to make all combatants faint in 3 turns. Cloyster will use Shell Smash to gain power along with Rock Blast and Icicle Spear to strike 2-5 times. Lapras will use Hail to make Blizzard unavoidable. Weavile will use Ice Shard to strike first and Night Slash with a Dark Gem for critical hits. Lucian uses Psychic type Pokémon. Mr. Mime knows both Reflect and Light Screen that reduces damage for 5 turns. Espeon will use Signal Beam to confuse targets and Quick Attack for a first strike finish. Alakazam can use Focus Blast if anyone taking advantage fights against it. Bronzong has the ability Levitate to avoid Ground type moves and will use Calm Mind to raise its Special stats then unleash a big Psychic attack. Gallade knows Drain Punch that steals the target’s HP and 3 moves that can land critical hits more easily. Moves like Night Slash and Flamethrower are a good use for this battle.

A Lakitu will appear and throw a spiked crawler onto the turf known as a Spiny. After collecting some coins and seeing some flashing blocks, you can go down the pipe for more coins or continue towards some flashing blocks. Cross the big stairway and hit a block containing multiple coins before going to the flagpole.

This requires an Azure Flute that can be obtained via Nintendo Event or Action replay. Speak to a green man at any Poké Mart to get the Azure Flute. With this item, go back to Spear Pillar and play the flute to reveal a mysterious stairway. Save your game before scaling the stairway. Arceus is on Level 80. You’ll need a whole lot of Dusk Balls in advance to capture this Pokémon. If Arceus is low on HP, it will use Recover. Arceus has an ability called Multi-type, which changes types by holding plates. If Arceus reaches Level 100, it will learn its signature move called Judgment. Judgment varies by type depending on which plate is held.

Ground pound through the concrete and you’ll get 2 Red Coins over 2 Shy Guys. Continue to pound through and you’ll find the first flower surrounded by 2 Red Coins. After throwing an egg through arrow puffs, use the arrow ball to bounce and you’ll find 3 Red Coins. Ground pound all the way down to find 3 Red Coins by 2 arrow balls. Hit a ? Puff to reveal a door. Throw an egg up where a lantern ghost is to make an arrow ball drop then bounce off it to find the 2nd flower. After a checkpoint over a mushroom, turn left to find 3 Red Coins. Break the concrete to reveal a ? Puff that releases a door to a secret room. Defeat all of the lantern ghosts for 4 Red Coins and the 3rd flower. Use an arrow ball over a spiked mace set to find 3 Red Coins. Under a mini-game hut, throw an egg at arrow puffs so they hit the 4th flower. Go to the top of the cave and pass some bats to find the next door. You’ll find another checkpoint and cross over platforms with Gusty flyers on the lines. Use the arrow ball to enter the next area and break the concrete over number platforms for the last flower. After a chomp rock and ball flower, you’ll find the goal.

After you met Cobalion at Route 6, you’ll see it again as you’re almost finished exploring Route 13. Save your game before interacting. Cobalion is on Level 45. Its signature move is Sacred Sword, a special Fighting type move that deals damage regardless of the target’s stat changes. If you defeat Cobalion, you’ll have a 2nd chance later after you beat the Elite Four and it will be on Level 65.

Azalea Town’s gym features platforms that run on grid lines. Adjusting the lever will change the lines at some spots, which will change the direction the platform travels. Navigate the lines and you’ll be able to take on the gym leader. Bugsy uses Bug type Pokémon. Scyther will use Focus Energy to raise its critical hit ratio and Quick Attack to strike first. After the battle, you’ll receive the Hive Badge and a TM89 (U-turn). After U-turn does damage, the user switches out for another Pokémon.

Maylene has an improved team of Fighting type Pokémon. Hitmontop will use Fake Out to strike first and make the target flinch as its first move and Aerial Ace to not miss. Medicham knows all 3 elemental punching moves along with Hi Jump Kick. Breloom will use Spore to put opponents to sleep and Mach Punch to strike first. Machamp has 2 moves that score critical hits more easily and Rock Climb to confuse targets. Lucario will use Drain Punch to steal HP and Extremespeed to strike first. Moves like Aerial Ace and Psychic will be a good use for this battle.
