I made a sandwich using eggs only. There are a few spices, but you know, I need them. This is also a very basic PSMF Bread Recipe.
RECIPE
5 Eggs
1/8 tsp Thyme
1/2 tsp Salt
1/8 tsp Black Pepper
1/4 tsp Smoked Paprika
1 tsp Lemon Juice
1 Tbsp Butter (for frying)
1) Separate 3 of your eggs, ensuring that the yolks don't break into the whites. To the egg whites, add your lemon juice and whisk until stiff peaks form (add 1/4 tsp of salt once they are at soft peaks). Lay out parchment paper onto a baking sheet and place mounds of your whipped eggs whites down and place into an oven at 350° or 176°C for 8-10 minutes or until cooked through.
2) In small bowl, take 2 of your yolks and add in your smoked paprika and a pinch of salt and combine. Pour this out onto a parchment lined baking sheet and bake for 5 minutes at 350°F or 176°C for 5 minutes.
3) Scramble your last 2 whole eggs along with the remainder of your salt, black pepper, and thyme. Place your butter into your pan and pour your eggs in. Scramble or make an omelette.
4) Place on of your bread rounds down. Top that with your scrambled eggs. Then your smoky yolk. Your remaining raw egg yolk, and your final piece of bread.

Chicken bacon ranch pot pie is just a ridiculous string of words that I can't believe I finally made. I've had the idea of carnivore pot pie written down in my list of ideas for a little bit and I felt like challenging myself. I was going to keep it as traditional as possible, but I decided against it and went as carnivore as possible. What came out was delicious and I look forward to making modified versions of this in the future!

I know that when you go to the store to pick steaks, it can be intimidating. I remember being younger and trying to cook and avoiding the steak section because it was intimidating. If only I had a how to guide! This isn't just a beginner's guide for people on the carnivore diet, this is also a guide for all of my omnivore friends as well. Hope it helps!

RECIPE
Bacon Smothered Chicken Breast
5 Strips Bacon, Sliced
5 Oz Pork Chorizo
3 Cups Chicken Stock
1 Oz Cream Cheese
4 Tbsp Scallions, Sliced
4 Large Bone-in Chicken Thighs
1) Place a pan over medium high heat along with the bacon. Cook this until the bacon is foamy and slightly crispy. Add the chorizo and break it down with a spatula until crumbly. Remove the bacon and chorizo reserving the grease.
2) Place the chicken thighs skin side down while still over medium heat for about 3 minutes to start to crisp up. Flip this and add 2 cups of chicken stock. Place this pan into an oven at 350°F for 30 minutes or until the chicken is cooked to 185°F internally at the bone.
3) While the chicken is in the oven, place another pan over medium heat. Add the bacon and chorizo along with the scallions and saute together for 2 minutes or until the scallions are translucent. Add the rest of the chicken stock and the cream cheese and bring to a simmer. Let this reduce until the sauce is slightly thickened.
4) Place your chicken onto a plate and smother with your bacon and chorizo. Top with more green onions if desired and serve.
