Artist Bio: Michael Kane & The Morning Afters might be the favorite sons of Worcester, but what does it mean to be kings of a town that lost its crown? It means the path forward can be done on the band’s own terms. And so no one told Michael Kane & The Morning Afters that they couldn’t make an album that doubled as an arena rock-ready, gritty Americana masterpiece.
And so they did, in their forthcoming 2022 album, 'Broke But Not Broken', issued by State Line Records.
But like any notable news of the now, to understand it one must go back to the start. Kane assembled The Morning Afters in 2016 after years of sitting on the sidelines and watching his friends succeed with music. Kane put his beautiful loser persona to song and began to showcase the serious potential that spent a lifetime trapped in his own body. Michael Kane and The Morning Afters released 'Laughing at the Shape I’m In' on a 7-inch EP through State Line Records in 2017, and in the process became the house band at The Hotel Vernon in Kelley Square.
Wearing the crown of the Heart of The Commonwealth, The Morning Afters began to play live all over New England and the Northeast. They’ve supported Street Dogs and Off With Their Heads, repped Worcester with pride at the Bosstones’ 2018 Cranking & Skanking Festival, and brought their heart-on-sleeve grit n’ wisdom down to The Fest in Gainesville, Florida.
Somewhere along the way, this band of punk scene lifers evolved into a full-blown Americana band, the end result in bloom on 'Broke But Not Broken'. The Morning Afters retain a lot of their early Replacements influence, but enhance it with musical DNA from all over the rock n’ roll map. The result is something that’s all their own, but cast in the stories we’ve all heard growing up. In 2022, these stories will become part of folklore, in Worcester, and beyond.

Artist Biography: Carry the Crown are bringing their energy driven version of modern alt rock to the forefront of the music scene across the UK. Known for their thrilling stage performances, they bring their catchy and anthemic sounds and mix them with a stage show that the crowds love.
With an exciting image, the boys both look and sound the part as a major band for the future. This, mixed with exposure from the BBC Introducing platform, has lead to the band being featured by Huw Stephens on his Radio 1 show.

Artist Bio: Sidus is a Berlin based post-rock instrumental one-man band formed by bass player Spiros Olivotos. After a period of experimentation and pre-production, Sidus hit the studio (P.K. Productions, Athens, Greece) to record his first E.P. with the title 'Seasons Reversed'. An instrumental, cinematic, post-rock, metal collection of five compositions, creates an intense though melodic and nostalgic atmosphere.
Influenced by God Is an Astronaut and Explosions in the Sky but also Deftones and Hans Zimmer, this E.P. combines dynamic guitars with soundtrack vibes and memorable melodies, while it is planned to be released on 06/11/2020. The artwork of the EP was created by Makis Olivotos. In the self-titled track, Kostas Milonas (Sunburst, Foray Between Ocean, New Day Slave) is featured on drums.
The band has already released four singles and gotten very positive reviews from musicians and fans too. Especially his second single with title “Prototypes/Replicas” was described as an “artistic storytelling” which “evolves into a full-blown story with tension, energy, relaxing moments and playful sceneries”. The third single “Energy In Emptiness” received one more time great feedback and critique for the music composition as well as the video production. The fourth single with title “Stellar Sky” was inspired by a classic quote of Carl Sagan about the stellar origin of human species.

About The Video: "Is She Worth It?" is a classic women’s drama story within a young band. The lyrics are entirely based on true experiences. It was, so to speak, a kind of “Yokko Ono” case within the band. In the early days of the band, when first small successes were recorded, there was a woman who was initially the girlfriend of the singer Ro Seven. She had, however, apparently found pleasure in putting the band members against each other. Since she had no success with Ro, she approached the drummer of the band. She brought him up against the other band members through hate and intrigue. In the band there were two clans and an unbearably bad mood prevailed. The band then collapsed. It took a year and a half until the band started again from scratch.
At the technical level, the video was shot in full HD by a video company. It took two shooting days and about one week post production. Three professional cameras were used and it was made in a storage hall of a local event production company.
