Coloring A Comic Book Page - Johnny's Law RONIN. Page one. This is a video made for my Indiegogo Pre-launch email list. This was done on the iPad 10.2 7th Generation, using the Apple Pencil Generation 1, and Procreate. The RAM in this iPad is 3GB, so layers are limited to seven for this canvas size and resolution. This was completed by taking it all the way from the flats to the shadows, then duplicating the file, combining layers and adding the light, rim lights and effects. The artist, Cesar Feliciano, has a great angular style that is similar to Mike Mignola. (Hellboy) I wanted to compliment the style, which I did, with triangular shapes. It is not as easy as you'd think. There has to be some though behind it. Lots of patience and learning to see where shapes can be consolidated to be both striking and memorable. I'm still learning, but I think it came out pretty good I think. If you are now seeing it, it has been a few days and you are finally getting to see it too! If you'd like to get in on all the behind the scenes action, then SIGN UP for the email list at the link right below! Thanks for being a part of this. With your help, we can make this a great campaign.
