Robin of Sherwood.1x02.Robin Hood and The Sorcerer (Part 2of2)
Robin of Sherwood, retitled Robin Hood in the US, is an acclaimed 1980s British television series, based on the legend of Robin Hood. Created by Richard Carpenter, it was produced by HTV in association with Goldcrest, and ran from 28 April 1984 to 28 June 1986 on the ITV network. The show starred first Michael Praed, then Jason Connery, as two different incarnations of the title character. Unlike previous adaptations of the Robin Hood legend, Robin of Sherwood combined a gritty, authentic production design with elements of real-life history and pagan myth. Robin of Sherwood has been described by historian Stephen Knight as "the most innovative and influential version of the myth in recent times". The series is also notable for its musical score by Clannad, which won a BAFTA award.
Sixty-five million years ago, a giant meteor hit the earth causing a global catastrophe that destroyed an estimated three quarters of the plants and animal species on the planet, including the mighty dinosaurs. Little was known about the survivors who lived in this post-apocalyptic world until a mining operation in Cerrejon, Northern Colombia — excavating coal cut from deep within the earth’s crust — exposed an important layer in the earth’s geological history laid down more than 10 million years after the extinction of the dinosaurs. In 2003, when paleontologist professor Jonathan Bloch, University of Florida, first heard that this important layer had been exposed, he and his research team rushed to Columbia. He had spent his career studying this Paleocene period in the earth’s geological history. Could this be the lost world he’d been searching for?

What links Adolf Hitler, Heinrich Himmler and a priceless Celtic cauldron recently discovered at the bottom of a lake in Bavaria? In this film an investigation uncovers allegations of mafia involvement, an international fraud trial where millions of dollars are at stake and a forensic discovery that stuns the archaeological world and steers the mystery towards Himmler's SS shrine at Wewelsburg and Hitler's obsessive quest for the Holy Grail. This seemingly priceless and beautiful object has brought death and disaster to everyone who has attempted to own it but who did make it and why?

2112 (pronounced "twenty-one twelve") is the fourth studio album by Canadian rock band Rush, released in March 1976 by Anthem Records.
Rush finished touring for their unsuccessful previous album Caress of Steel in early 1976. The band was in financial hardship due to the album's disappointing sales, unfavourable critical reception, and a decline in attendance at its shows. The band's international label, Mercury Records, considered dropping Rush but granted the band one more album following negotiations with manager Ray Danniels. Though the label demanded more commercial material, the band decided to continue developing its progressive rock sound. 2112 was recorded in February 1976 in Toronto with regular producer Terry Brown. Its centerpiece is the 20-minute title track, a futuristic science-fiction song that takes up the entire first side of the album. There are five individual tracks on side two.
2112 was released to favourable reviews from music critics and quickly outsold the band's previous albums. It peaked at No. 5 on the Canadian Albums Chart and No. 61 on the US Billboard Top LPs & Tape and was the band's commercial breakthrough in the country. Rush supported the album with a tour of the United States, Canada, and for the first time, Europe, from February 1976 to June 1977. 2112 remains the band's second-highest-selling album (behind 1981's Moving Pictures) with more than 3 million copies sold in the United States. It is listed in 1001 Albums You Must Hear Before You Die, and ranked second on Rolling Stone's reader's poll, Your Favorite Prog Rock Albums of All Time.[15] 2112 has been reissued several times; a 40th Anniversary Edition was released in 2016 with previously unreleased material, including the album performed by artists including Dave Grohl, Taylor Hawkins, Billy Talent, Steven Wilson, and Alice in Chains.

Weasel Stop is a 1956 Warner Bros. Looney Tunes animated short film directed by Robert McKimson. The cartoon was released on February 11, 1956, and features Foghorn Leghorn.
The cartoon is unusual in that a different dog (instead of the Barnyard Dawg) is used as Foghorn's nemesis. The title is a pun on the phrase "whistle stop".
Voice cast:
Mel Blanc as Foghorn Leghorn, Willy the Weasel, Hen
Lloyd Perryman as Shaggy Dog (uncredited)
Dog Barks are provided by Mel Blanc
Catch as Cats Can is a 1947 Warner Bros. Merrie Melodies animated cartoon directed by Arthur Davis. The short was released on December 6, 1947, and stars an early version of Sylvester.
Notes:
This was only one of three non-Bugs Bunny cartoons from 1947 not to be reissued. The others were "Mexican Joyride" and "A Pest in the House".
Songs sung by "Frank" include: "As Time Goes By", "It Can't Be Wrong" and "A Little on the Lonely Side".
This is one of the only two shorts featuring Sylvester to be directed by Arthur Davis. The other is "Doggone Cats". Unlike the said short, where Sylvester didn't talk and had a yellow unnamed feline partner, "Catch as Cats Can" has Sylvester speaking, albeit with a dopey voice and no lisp.
Coincidentally, they were both released in 1947.
This is the only Sylvester short made in 1947 to not be reissued.
Animals have always fascinated people for their unique characteristics and have always been very prominent on every culture
Since the icons we see on our coins are nothing but a reflection of our culture, they also show up very frequently on ancient coins. Today, lets go on a numismatic zoo trip and see how the ancient peoples depicted animals on their coinage.

Yessongs is the first live album by the English progressive rock band Yes, released as a triple album in May 1973 on Atlantic Records. After completing their Close to the Edge Tour in April 1973, the band selected live recordings between February and December 1972 on their tours supporting Fragile (1971) and Close to the Edge (1972) for a live album release.
