About Your Ukulele Instructor Lee Q. has a master's degree and comprehensive experience in music instruction and performance, including solo performance, orchestra, concert band, folk/bluegrass orchestra, chamber ensembles, rock/blues/folk and pep bands, and musical theatre. Ms. Q. received a Master of Music degree in Instrumental Pedagogy (Belmont University) and graduated from Loyola University New Orleans (Bachelor of Music Education). Ms. Q. also graduated from the U.S. Armed Forces School of Music and served as a Bassoon Player in the U.S. Army. Lee started playing guitar at age 14 and joined her first band at age 18. She has played guitar and bass in many eclectic situations, including numerous New Orleans venues and a Saints halftime show at the Superdome.
