We celebrated my daughter's birthday at the recently-opened Cebu Ocean Park. You will definitely enjoy the experience as much as we did. We skipped some of the highlights which required additional fees to get in and required us to get wet. They also accept discounted rates for senior citizens but no student rates for the experience is purposely intended for kids. And caution parents, the last path is leading to a big souvenir area full of toys, lol. For those bringing seniors, the pathway was well planned, every area ending directly leads to the next area, unlike the chaotic Manila Ocean Park. There were no stairs to climb, all stairs as I recalled were all going down, and the escalator will get you up when you need to go up the floors. My two 72-year-old parents were too excited and even went ahead of us. You may call this the biggest ocean park in the Philippines but as of posting, the place is kinda small compared to Manila's. They have lesser number of species, some areas are still under construction, so perhaps it will be better the next time around?
