Heres the video of a prop I made for a friend for his birthday. Only mistake was I probably should have put a bit more hardener into the body filler. Other than that it came out real nice. Just under 100 hours to print and a few days of work. I bought the model from cg trader. Had a friend named Cheers cut it up for printing and then I got the iron sights from another friend named Caleb. The grip and flashlight came of other prop guns I had.

This is a project that my Father and I started about 7 years ago. My Father passed away from cancer in 2015 and I have been working on it ever since to finish it.
So the back story to this thing is, my father welded the frame up for a friend of his from work. The friend began to assemble it. He then retired and had other plans. I bought it from him and stripped it down. Replaced 99% of the stuff on it.
I got lazy along the way, life also got in the way. I am so happy this thing is all finished. Next step on this trike is to get it inspected and get an engineering certificate.
I will keep posting videos on this beast. I really have to paint the bottom of that fibreglass body black. While editting it has begun to bother me. The rough amount of money that has gone into this is $14000 AUD. I lost count of how many hours went into this thing.

So in this episode I tack together the control arms and narrow the frame. I will be shortening the hoop which the top control arm bolts to. I am trying to get suspension off of a 450cc quad bike for the rear and I want to match the geometry for the front control arms.

Paint. So in this part I scuff the paint and use a can of silver spray paint as the base coat. Then I get a good ol can of bunnings paint for the blue. I will be going back and painting the white around the blue.
I have a few more things to do. I have to fix up the charcoal canister issue, reposition the battery and make a huge spoiler for it.
