What's in my Wedding Camera Bag 2019 - Fujifilm X-T3 + DJI Mavic 2 Pro
Hey guys, I finally decided to start being in front of the camera a little more. Still very strange and new to me. Still feeling a little uncomfortable to talk to a camera. But I pulled the trigger today and made a video about the gear we use on a daily basis. We mainly shoot Fujifilm with the new Fujifilm X-T3 being my favorite camera and my DJI Mavic2Pro being my favorite drone for 2019.

I hope you enjoy this attempt at me making a video of myself.
We shot in Fujifilm's beautiful Classic Chrome film simulation for this one.
This video was shot on the Fujifilm X-T2 and the 35mm f1.4 lens from Fujinon.
This beautiful wedding took place at De Uijlenes, a beautiful country side wedding venue situated in the Western Cape of South Africa, about a hour and a half away from Cape Town.
Rudi & Louise were such an amazing couple and we were so lucky to share their big wedding day with them.
Entire wedding shot on my Fujifilm X-T2 as main camera and Fujifilm Xt20 and second. The Xt2 was mounted on the Zhiyun Tech Crane 2 as the camera does not have IBIS. (In Body stabilization) The new Fujifilm X-H1 does have built in ISIS and I can't wait to shoot with the new X-H1 . Fujifilm was kind enough to send me a loan unit that is arriving early this week.
My normal shooting profile is Classic Chrome, its what you see here straight out of camera with no color grading or adjustments. I just love the look of the Classic Chrome that I don't edit it at all.
I shoot at 60fps as I like to slow everything down for that dramatic and cinematic effect.
Most of the wedding was filmed on the Fujifilm 35mm f1.4 lens and the Fujifilm 90mm f2 lens.

The small town of Bedford in the Eastern Cape was a beautiful setting for the wedding of Due-Donne and Stuart. Stuart's family farm was the chosen venue and we were so happy to share this amazing day with them.

We were a little worried waking up and seeing the weather at the morning of this wedding, however we were super lucky not to get a single drop of rain and the clouds created such a awesome moody shooting environment.
Leanne and Jason got married in the beautiful town of Knysna, this beautiful Garden Route coastal town offers natural beauty and amazing shooting locations. This was such a chilled beautiful wedding that allowed us to focus on the couple and being intimate. We love beach weddings every now and then and getting those great wedding shots of couples on the beach. The only stress we had on this wedding was the seagulls attacking our Dji Mavic Pro drone.

I recently shot a wedding video for a company called Garland Weddings. The wedding was shot on the following gear.
Fujifilm X-T4 - https://amzn.to/3q3jTKm
Fujifilm X-S10 - https://amzn.to/3bAQ4rQ
35mm f1.4 - https://amzn.to/3BHlcki
80mm f2.8 - https://amzn.to/3BFGxdR
18-55mm f2.8 - 5.6 kit lens
DJI Ronin RS2
DJI Air 2 S
The wedding was shot on Classic Chrome with no color grading done afterward. I soot pretty much 90% of the wedding on the 35mm f1.4 only a few of the wider scenic shots were done with the 18-55mm lens. The ceremony was filmed on 80mm but none of that footage made it into the highlights film you see here.
I only ever use autofocus when I shoot. Focus setting set to continuous unless I need it to stay focussed on one non-moving subject.

It's here!! We finally got our DJI Ronin S and was able to shoot a wedding on it. Best decision ever. The DJI Ronin S is a fantastic gimbal with an amazing app that allows for precision calibration on the go! We are super happy with the results we got from the DJI Ronin S. Our Zhiyun Crane 2 will now be used by our second shooter. Which is still in its own way a great gimbal.
Thank you to Rita & Alrich for inviting us to share their special day with them and capture it in beautiful detail.
Entire wedding shot on my Fujifilm X-H1 as main camera and Fujifilm X-T2 and second. The X-H1 was mounted on the DJI Ronin S with the Fujifilm X-H1's in body IS working with the Ronin S.
We shot in Fujifilms Eterna Color profile and we loooove it!! We have been playing aroundw ith F-Log and Eterna and Eterna really does make it very easy to grade.
I shoot at 60fps as I like to slow everything down for that dramatic and cinematic effect. Some shots we do shoot on Fujifilms new 120fps simulated mode.

Jaco & Kim got married at Zorgvliet in the amazingly beautiful Stellenbosch mountains. We have been looking forward to this wedding from the first time we did their engagement shoot more than a year ago.
We hope you enjoy the highlights video from their beautiful wedding day.

Fujifilm South Africa was kind enough to let me use this amazing lens for a few days. Luckily there is a game reserve only about 30 minutes from my house. So this was the perfect opportunity to take this lens for a spin. This was my first time ever using this kind of lens as I mostly only use the Fujinon 50 - 140mm f2.8. I was really surprised at how good the imagine stabilization on the lens was and as well as the video I got handheld.

I don't often get to shoot in my home town of George, so when I get the chance to do so I jump at the opportunity.
Lydia & Jacques booked us more than a year ago, and we have been looking forward to their wedding day ever since. With Jacques being a little camera shy, we just wanted him to enjoy his new wife and forget we were even there. We didn't have to ask twice as Jacques could not take his eyes of his new bride.
We love it when our couples are willing to jump into corn fields and not care about dirty dresses and just enjoy the moment. Thanks to our spontaneous couple we got some epic wedding shots in the farm lands and open fields.

As long as I can remember my dad has painted. He spends most nights in his home studio painting everything from Sports Hero's to animals and portraits.
I visited him last night and filmed some clips of him in action.
The video was filmed on my old trusty Fujifilm X-T2 with the 35mm f1.4 on the Zhiyun Tech Crane 2.
The scenes were lit with standard tube light.
