So what is Baldur's Gate Dark Alliance? Unlike it's PC predecessors, Baldur's Gate Dark Alliance is a hack n slash Arpg with local co-op support for 2 players. Don't let the Baldur's gate comparison scare you away though, Dark Alliance takes the setting of the famous city and little else from the PC titles apart from some sprinkles of lore for those who are familiar with the forgotten realms. On its own its a solid if not short game, a complete playthrough should take you about 8-10 hours. It has some replay value in the form of a secret unlockable character and the extreme difficulty that comes with them.
