Freediving & Snorkeling for FOSSILS in Mariager Fjord - Denmark (Vlog #16)
In another Vlog I will take you guys under the water surface in beautiful Mariager Fjord in Denmark. It is well known spots for fossil hunting, especially for hunting fossilised sea urchins that are over 50 million years old. This time instead of walking through the forrest we have actually used inflatable kayaks to sail to the spot and spent several hours in the water. I hope you will enjoy the beautiful wild-life under water and also fossils that I've found.
In today's video I'll cover everything you need to know about one of the most favourite snails in the Aquarium Hobby - Assassin Snail. This snail is well known for its ability to kill and eat other species of freshwater pest snails like for example Ramshorn, Pond or Malasian Trumpet Snails. In this video you will be able to find the care guide to keep this snail, but also close-ups to how it hunts its prey and why it got its nickname of an Aquarium "Assassin".

Even though I have not been uploading for a while, I kept myself busy. After moving across half of the Europe and settling down once again I had to restart all my aquariums basically from the scratch. I have been trying to film as much as possible and during the next few videos I'll take you through all the projects I have been working on.
We will begin with unboxing new aquarium backgrounds that I will be using for background filters inspired by amazing Fish Store - Unimati that I have documented for you guys in my last video and if you haven't seen it yet, definitely watch it as so far it is definitely the best and most difficult video I have ever made:

Today we will take a closer look to another strain of Endler´s Livebearer and this time it will be another guppy hybrid - Red Chest Saddleback. Developed by Japanese breeder Hiroshi Sugino, this relatively small livebearing fish is very popular in the aquarium hobby especially because of it beautiful colours, activity and peaceful nature. Red pattern in the chest part of the fish and black saddle bar over the back are the main traits of this strain, creating beautiful fish especially for planted aquariums.

When I have originally moved into new apartment I have bought new simple rack from Ikea that I have been for past 6 months using as my fish rack. During the hustle with moving I did not really have time to do adjustments I wanted and also did not have time to film almost nothing from the entire process. However, this will now change and I will take you guys through entire remodelling of my fish rack, that is super simple & cheap. In today's video I will introduce you to the entire project and focus mostly on sealing the wood to make it water resistant and also reducing the noise of air pumps I use to run my sponge filters.
