Visiting Lucky Cats Temple (Gotokuji) and Totoro Cream Puffs Store in Tokyo
I went to one of the famous temples and one of the cutest shops in Tokyo so wanted to show them to you! The name of the temple is Gotokuji (豪徳寺) and it is said to be the birthplace of lucky cats. There are more than 1000 lucky cats displayed at this temple and that's something that you don't see a lot! It is located 10 mins away from Gotokuji station in Tokyo so you do not need to worry about the access to get there :) For totoro cream puffs, the name of the shop is Shirohige Cream Puff Factory. There are few flavors and everything is delicious! (and so cute!) It is owned by Hayao Miyazaki's sister in law so there are his drawing and autograph displayed inside of the shop! If you are a fan of a studio ghibli, I highly recommend this place to visit!
Shinjuku Station (新宿駅, Shinjuku-eki) is a major railway station in the Shinjuku and Shibuya wards in Tokyo, Japan.
In Shinjuku, it is part of the Nishi-Shinjuku and Shinjuku districts.
In Shibuya, it is located in the Yoyogi and Sendagaya districts. It is the world's busiest railway station.
Serving as the main connecting hub for rail traffic between Tokyo's special wards and Western Tokyo on inter-city rail, commuter rail, and subway lines, the station was used by an average of 3.59 million people per day in 2018, making it, by far, the world's busiest station (and registered as such with Guinness World Records).
The main JR station and the directly adjacent private railways have a total of 35 platforms, including an underground arcade, above ground arcade and numerous hallways with another 17 platforms (53 total) can be accessed through hallways to 5 directly connected stations without surfacing outside.
The entire above/underground complex has well over 200 exits.
Many department stores and shopping malls are built directly into the station.
The basement of Shinjuku Station has been newly renovated, and new spots are being created one after another.
There are many futuristic and fashionable spots, you can enjoy a different space without getting wet in the rain, and you can enjoy a walk.
I can feel Tokyo is not just a big city but a LIVING CITY with emotion and seems like you can see new things everyday and everywhere. Tokyo is so magical for me.
Today I want to share top 10 food items that Japanese people buy at Muji store in Japan in this video :)
MUJI Ginza, the global flagship store located on Namiki-dori in Ginza, Tokyo, celebrated its first anniversary on April 4, 2020.
In one year, more than three million customers from all around the world have visited this store.
It has been, and will continue to be, a place where the people connected to this store, including visitors from all over the world, people who live and work around Ginza, and the creators of the products sold there, can reflect on their thoughts, meet in person, and make connections.
From Ginza, MUJI sends its concept of "a Simple, Pleasant Life" to the world.

Showa Memorial Park (昭和記念公園, Shōwa Kinen Kōen) is a park in the city of Tachikawa, 30 minutes from central Tokyo by train. Spanning over 160 hectares, this huge park boasts a variety of natural spaces, seasonal flowers, water features, museums and sports facilities. The park was opened in 1983 to commemorate the 50th anniversary of Emperor Showa's reign.
I took a walk in the Ikebukuro district in Toshima, Tokyo, during Golden Week.
Large commercial facilities are closed all day and restaurants are open until 8 pm.
Toshima ward offices, Ikebukuro station and several shops, restaurants, and enormous department stores are located within city limits.
At the center of Ikebukuro is the train and subway station, a huge urban gathering shared by the JR East lines, the Seibu Ikebukuro Line and the Tōbu Tōjō Line.
It is one of the main commuter hubs in the western Yamanote area of Tokyo.
Ikebukuro Station is the third-busiest station in Japan, and the world.

I went to an international grocery store in Hiroo, Tokyo!
The name of the store is National Azabu and Hiroo is know for a popular expat residential area since there are many embassies over there and the area is an easy access to a lot of international companies around there!
Everything is a bit (or a very lol) expensive since most of the items are imported and you might get shocked to see the price!
However, when you really miss your home and want to cook something from your home country, it might worth to come here since there are so many varieties of imported products and I know sometimes it is hard to find some specific items at Japanese grocery stores!

I went to Don quijote store few weeks ago and thought it's a good idea to give some souvenirs ideas from Japan!
Don quijote is a discount chain store in Japan and it is like a Japanese version of Walmart! (or ALDI or Lidl!)
Many items at this store tend to be cheaper than normal grocery stores or drug stores in Japan so it is a great place for buying souvenirs!
