I don't like this happening in my neighborhood. I don't like the homeless people there, but the police bothering them is not the answer.

Friday, July 11th, 2014 - Today my rights were violated by two government agencies. First, I went to the DMV to ask permission to drive my car. The clerk denied me permission since my car has not been inspected by the state, so she won't give me temporary plates. But I can't get it to a state inspection without plates. So I can't drive it because the government doesn't trust that it's safe, but I can't get it inspected because the government won't give me permission to drive it, even to inspection. My options are: 1) have it towed to a private place that will inspect it for the State, then get temporary plates from them, or 2) register the car outright, and then get it inspected within 10 days. I'll probably be going with option 2, but it may take a long time. Meanwhile, my car is sitting on a lot instead of being used, and I have to continue to pay taxis to cart me around to do my government business. It's very frustrating.
Then, I went to the Post Office because I received a certified letter (meaning it has to be officially delivered to me in hand, with signature, etc). The letter said I was denied my application for a concealed carry permit. The reasons given were that I have been arrested in the past 3 years. I do not believe this is a legitimate restriction of my right to self defense, so I will be challenging this denial. New Hampshire is a "Shall Issue" state, so I might win the appeal. What would you do?
