Talking Seaweed believes there is a lot more the cannabis industry can do for athletes so we took it upon ourselves and started “YiKES!”. YiKES! is the extreme sports branch of Talking Seaweed. Not only will we be covering events and demos alike but we will also be hosting our own private skate and bmx sessions at one of the best indoor skateparks in the North East, these will be known as the “YiKES! Sessions”. Along with event coverage and event hosting, we will also be releasing an abundance of content surrounding cannabis use within and around extreme sports athletes and culture. It’s time cannabis companies and the industry as a whole stand with athletes. Our goal with “YiKES!” is to de-stigmatize cannabis use in and around extreme sports as well as all professional athletes. We are curating a platform for these athletes to support cannabis use, continue to entertain and use their voice, meet like-minded professionals and most importantly, break down barriers.
