Deep Rock Galactic - New Gunk Seed Collection Secondary Objective
Here is the second of the three new secondary objectives, and this one I find a bit more annoying than the fleas (I have not done the 3rd one yet). You need to find these hanging membranes and shoot them to release the seed. Once popped, you can find the seed on your map as a yellow dot, but you need to be able to see the ceiling to find them. As a result, biomes like this one can be extremely difficult as the ceiling is very high up. Overall, this mission very heavily favors the scout as you have the flares for light, plus you have the precise weapons to drop them in a single shot. ... https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=E5F9nra9pqM
This is another one of the missions that reflects some of the inner workings of the COs, this time with Lash getting Sonja to question her motives. Other than that, this is similar to some of the Grit missions, this time swapping the indirect fire range for vision.
Now, your goal is to protect the HQ since you are massively outgunned here. The trick is to shoot to wound so that if anything gets up there, it will not be able to kill the defenders. Make sure you hide the indirects in the woods to get clean shots and avoid being spotted. Additionally, hide the ones at the top of the map so they can aid in the defense without fear of retaliation. Then just like the other fog maps of this ilk, whittle away at the enemy until nothing remains.

Our MC wants to involve Hagana in his investment strategy, but he is having trouble breaking the ice. While wanting the two of them to become closer, Lisa steers a series of events that can work to deepen their relationship, assuming it doesn't backfire horribly in the process.
If you want to pick up a copy yourself, you can do so on Steam with the following link: http://store.steampowered.com/app/269250/
After reaching the city on the other side of the mountain, we have a couple things to do before we can go ahead and face Misty. First, we have access to some Eevee exclusive moves, namely Buzzy Buzz, which will be extremely helpful against her. Second, there are some trainers to go after, but at this point, I didn't realize how worthless fighting trainers actually is. Once she is down, we can make our way to Vermillion where more awaits.
Also, there is about 1 minute in the video that has to be muted due to copyrights. I do not want ads on here, so I have started the process to mute it, but I don't know if it will be ready when this goes live. I also wanted to bring this up so no one panics if they reach that point and all sound dies.

Until now, we were mostly going through the motions on working our way up the ranks (while killing everything), but we have hit monsters that I need parts for when using my farming set. Barroth's set gives attack and defense, which were good fillers until you farmed better stuff. Pukei-Pukei gives a skill that can give you free ammo, which I exploit in the fights to come. You will be seeing these parts for many videos to come.

There is only one ranked game in this set (there will be more tomorrow), where we get to take our starter out to play. The remainder of the time is taken up by standard games with Absol where I am trying to grind the 24 speedster games.
The main highlight of this game is when I say Snorlax counters Mamoswine, you REALLY get to see it here. He wants to barrel in, and I just keep knocking him back. His only option is to pop his ult, and if things are timed correctly, even that can backfire (see Zapdos fight). I had the potential to get MVP as defender, but the cowards threw in the towel, leaving disappointment for everyone.

With the release of Mamoswine and impending release of Sylveon, I think Snorlax is being indirectly buffed. Other than the Mamo ult, Snorlax can stop everything else he has to throw, and if Sylveon cannot dash through Block, Snorlax will be returning to his place at the top of the defender list. Depending on how the two interact (we find out tomorrow!), I may be playing a lot more of him. I don't know if I will continue using the EXP Share, but hopefully you can see how if you have a competent partner and protect them, you can cause a LOT of trouble with that item. It shines much better in proper coordination.
As for Blastoise, I think he is going to be the second best defender. Hydro Pump is a really good disengage tool, and combining it with Rapid Spin gives you a makeshift Janna ult without the healing. That's not even factoring in your ult either. I still need to determine what items work best for him, so there is a lot of experimentation to be had.
Finally, I really like Machamp's point and click CC, which is the main thing Pikachu offers. However, I think Pikachu is going to be falling off soon, meaning Machamp is going to have the most reliable CC out of a Slowbro ult. Scope Lens is simply too good on him to not use, and I am partial to Razor Claw giving its damage spike combined with the slow. I want to take Muscle Band as a third item as it helps with early game skirmishing and you can always make use of any ally CC to get even more mileage out of it.

This is just a scene to fulfill a request. Basically, you can see how the Kubitarou introduction will play out should Hazuki not be alive. A few lines have changed, but there are no major bombshells as the plot still needs to move forward.

Amateur thieves meet the professionals...
Anyway, while reviewing this, I think having Anna surmount behind and go invisible to cut off the enemy circle may have been faster and safer than going around. Due to the enemy mages, it is difficult to make defensive formations until they get picked off, so those are going to have to be priority going forward. As for the thieves, since there are two of them, I am a little annoyed at how superior their stats are, especially since that Fire Arrow does so much damage. The only saving grace is that she literally can't do anything once I have her surrounded.
Sadly, there is less crap going on in this fight compared to the next one where we have to fight in an arena. That one really takes the cake when it comes to stupid "mechanics" so far...

In addition to the quests, we are now at the point we can fight Cryon, so I take them on at the beginning of the video hoping to farm interrupts/impedes, but it doesn't work like I hoped. From there, I think I show some of the new monsters that have appeared, but otherwise, there are some quests for us to tackle. We begin roaming the city state in search of lost books, while helping Anton make his love connection, and wrap things up with a gift and some wrapping material with Shizuku. Sadly, we cannot do Selteo's quest just yet, but we are able to accept it and have the remainder of the chapter to get the rest of the recipes, so just hold out a bit.
