Sometimes things can seem so dark, so grim. You can try to do everything in your power to turn it around but it just feels like everything is against you. This is a story from a subscriber Camila that is exactly that. She was born into a situation she couldn't get out of and all the pain led to one bad decision after another. Her mother treated her horribly by physically, emotionally and mentally abusing her. Her mother was so consumed in hated for her father for cheating and leaving her so she took out all her anger out on Camila. She had no chance. She sought abusive relationships to make up for the pain she was going through. When you grow up in an abusive environment, it's all you know and understand. Some people think it's all they deserve... Which is not true. But because of her abusive parent, she developed BPD, Borderline Personality Disorder. It means she struggles to control her emotions. BPD is a very complicated disorder. Don't worry, we are currently making a video about it that should be out soon. She may have been put in this position when she was born. She may not have had a choice but in the end, her father came through and lifted her out. You will always be able to find help. Whether it's family, friends or even the local authorities. It all happened so fast. The moment I realized that all I was wearing was my underwear that I had gone to sleep in, was the same moment one of the pirates fired at the floor and a bullet fragment struck me in my left shin, lodging itself just an inch from the bone. Pirate: "GET UP NOW!!" They marched us outside and onto the deck and then into a speedboat that was waiting for us next to the ship. We were now their hostages - 5 Indian Sailors and 1 Nigerian Captain - and they were taking us deep into the forest to await our fate. It takes some of us years to lose our baby fat weight. You can blame it on the genetics, our food diets, or our lack of exercise. But really, the answer is a little easier than you think. An experiment was done at Google's workplace. On opposite ends of the room, one area had food and drinks and on the other end only drinks. The experiment showed that people who went to grab a drink where snacks were eaten twice as much as those who grabbed drinks from where there were no snacks. This means we as humans, have very little self-control over food whether we are hungry or not - especially if it's FREE. By keep fattening snacks out of sight, you actually forget you want those sweets. Sure, you can sometimes cheat but over time, you end up forgetting and not craving sugary snacks as much because they are out of sight. This may seem like common sense - and it is - but you'd be surprised how many people don't do this giving into their sweet tooths. So, if you're looking for a little bump in ways to lose weight, hiding your snacks and keeping them out of sight is a great way to start ;).
