Dancing Bachata on a Vanishing Island.
My friend and I dance together on a secret island. This little island or sand dune appears only at low tide for about 2h. By the time we got there and started dancing, we had to run away to another island to finish our video because the ocean was taking our island back and we would have been stuck in raising water level with our gear. 20m after this video, this sand dune was already covered in water.
This bachata dance was a long time ago, but I have a longer video on my channel if you want to see more.

Anne-So has been one of my favorite practice partner when I started dancing Bachata. I was learning and experimenting a lot, and I have learned so much by practicing and simply dancing with her.
Her general body movement is a fusion of various dance styles which gives her a unique flavor and her body movement is excellent which was great for bachata sensual. Her most important strength though, is the level at which she is paying attention and listening with her whole body, to even small and subtle movement. This is something that every follow needs to work on, for better connection with their partners.
She's also the person I discovered the potential of a deep and strong dance connection with. This has changed my perception and understanding of Bachata Sensual.

It has been over a year now that I dance Bachata, so I though it would be time to start uploading some videos for the sake of keeping track of my progress. So here's a third video of myself.
I was social dancing with my friend Lyla on March 13th. That was my last social event before the whole Covid19 and Quarantine crisis.
I see a million mistakes in this short clip, and I still don't move with a 'latin vibe' but I have about 12 years of Hip Hop vibes to get over, so it'll take time..
I think my musicality and creativity aren't bad, but I was able to carry a part of it from previous experiences.
