Hey, you guys like my Let's Plays, Longplays, Writing, and other random things I do, right? Maybe you'd consider sponsoring me on Patreon? All I ask is a $1 a month contribution. It doesn't sound like a lot, but if enough of you guys help out it will go a long way. "Eminent domain, bitches!"
Here we are playing a classic of the simulation genre, SimCity 3000 Unlimited. This time I've invited my good friend Miateshcha to sit in and provide color commentary on this Maxis game from 1999/2000.

Good lord this one took forever to make, there were so many video glitches and rendering errors and holy crap it was ridiculous...
Here it is! Lace up your skates and hit the ice, here we are playing an entire season of one of the greatest hockey games of all time, NHL '95 for the PC. Roster slots filled out by my fans, much thanks to you, NHL '95 for the PC is one of the finest hockey games ever made, with fantastic gameplay, digitized speech, authentic jerseys, and a slick TV-style presentation. Everything you loved about the playability of NHL '94 is ramped up and polished here in NHL '95.
It's like the inverse of Be A Pro -- You're in my game! This should be fantastic and fun. So let's hit the ice!
Since this is back long before Play by Play was a thing in hockey video games, I'm going to do my best to be entertaining as well as providing the coverage as the game transpires. We'll see how that goes... also, check out the custom music I've added, from a diversity of interests, to give it some more authentic Arena Feel. I hope you guys like it!
Quack! Quack! Quack!

It's driller time!
With Operation Bulldog a success and the Clan Smoke Jaguar Occupation Zone liberated, you and your Davion Guards comrades are expecting a hero's welcome back home. Unfortunately, this is not to be. Yankee and Zulu Companies have been called back into the fray once again, to eliminate the 'renegade' Smoke Jaguar Star Colonel Marcus Kotare on the barren periphery world of Cermak. Although once a Star League outpost, hundreds of years of warfare and neglect have left Cermak nothing more than a desolate wasteland of decrepit abandoned bases, wind-stripped trees, and cracked landscape. But is Kotare planning to make this his last stand, or does he have something more sinister up his sleeve?
Desperate Measures was released in August 1999 by Microrprose and published by Microsoft, and together with the Mechwarrior 3 expansion pack 'Pirate's Moon' constitute the end of the all-too-short 'Microrprose Era' of Battletech video games. Thouogh technically the expansion campaign is named Desperate Measures, for simplicity's sake it's become synonymous with MechCommander Gold, as it was never released separately. Along with the Desperate Measures expansion campaign, MechCommander Gold also added new features like improved waypoints, energy-weapon-only firing orders, difficulty settings, and a mission editor.
MechCommander Gold (as well as MechCommander 2) is freely available online, as the game was released as freeware several years ago. As the websites change often, just google 'Mechcommander download' and you should find it. As usual, I am playing with my original game disc.

Level 12 - Callisto Tower Colony
I'm going to be playing a mod I made of Descent 1 that converts it into Descent 2. I added the guidebot to the levels, and the Descent 2 accessories and weapons. On the other hand, the AI is smarter in Descent 2, so it balances out. It'll be fun. Descent is a classic first person shooter/sim game from Interplay and Parallax Software from 1995. Six degrees of freedom for playing around in the mines.
Played on DXX-Rebirth source port.
