Russell T Davies and his success with Series 1 was not the only attempt that was made in reviving Doctor Who after its cancelation. Back in 2003, in celebration of the show's 40th anniversary, Cosgrove Hall Films collaborated with the BBC to compose an experimental Flash animation as a way to see if a revival of the colossal TV programme was even possible. Companied by such great talents like Richard E Grant and Paul Cornell, this small yet passionate project made its big step towards taking Doctor Who into the new internet age. Now you can see its stunning title sequence remade in 4K resolution and with higher quality 3D animation. Take a step back into a unique era of Doctor Who. An era that was truly UNBOUND.

Kicking the hornets nest a bit with this ;) What was so surprising was how much little effort there was to achieve this effect. It's like the editors had the preset they always had since the episode Dalek back in 2005, and just turned off every colour-grading layers and vector animations. At least in Resolution and Revolutions of the Daleks they tried something new with both the POV vision for the Reconnaissance Scout and Defense Drones.

So as I'm busy working on other projects, I thought I would upload a little something on the side to pass the time. To coincide with my title sequence concept, I have composed a short closing credits sequence for it as well. It even comes with the recently named music composer for Series 11, Segun Akinola. Enjoy this small trinket by playing it alongside your favourite Doctor Who cliffhangers. ;)

"Hello, I'm the Doctor...You're gonna love this."
I have been keeping this project a secret for two whole years. Originally, I was going to pitch this video idea to either the BBC or Big Finish for it to be used in some official Doctor Who marketing. However, due to health issues, real-life commitments and other factors beyond my control, I have settled on just uploading this as its own title sequence concept.
Also, I was always intending to make a full-blown video for Jo Martin. Her fantastic performance as the Fugitive Doctor was one of the few good highlights I enjoyed from the 13th Doctor era, and I wish her story could have been fleshed out more. Here's hoping that @bigfinishprod will do an amazing job with the character in their upcoming box set of audio adventures this year.
As for the visuals themselves, yes they are indeed based on the Doctor Who Origins comics range by Titan Comics. But the idea behind the logo I thought of myself. Having a shattered version of the First Doctor's logo was my way of visually telling that the story of the Doctor lurks far deeper beneath the surface than we had originally thought. Plus I reinterpreted many visual elements from nearly every Classic Series title sequence, making this sequence look unique in terms of design, but serving as a love letter to those beloved eras of the show as well.

Imagine if there was a Doctor Who video game made for the Nintendo Gameboy during the 30th anniversary of the show in 1993.
Used Adobe After Effects for the retro pixelation effect on the Tom Baker titles footage, and @FXhome's Hitfilm for the 3D Gameboy screen and VHS filter.

I'm happy to promote this title sequence commission for @DRIFTPORTcreations01 and their upcoming Doctor Who fan series production, DECEPTION. Starring Brian Joseph Cox as The Doctor.
Years ago I was approached by the DRIFT PORT Creations team if I could create not only a title sequence but also be hired for other VFX work throughout their fan series. Work that is still in progress I might add. After some back and forth with design ideas, I proposed that since his series was going to use the original Tom Baker diamond logo, we could go for a modernized version of the Tom Baker titles, complete with 3D slit scan tunnels and TARDIS model. Agreeing with my plans, they gave me a shot to compose the sequence. My oh my how little we knew of the "changes" Russell T Davies planned with his brave new era, including with the new and improved diamond logo.
Just to clarify, myself and the DRIFT PORT Creations team had no idea of what RTD was gonna do with the series branding-wise. I was busy experimenting with different 3D tunnels and trying to make the classic diamond logo into a workable extruded 3D model well before Russell was even announced to return as Doctor Who's showrunner for this sequence. You can imagine the shock on all of our faces when we saw the new 2023 revealed on our TVs and smartphones. Still, as the old saying goes "The show must go on". After work on the sequence was completed and paid for, I asked permission to use some of the elements I made for their commissioned titles so I could work on something to celebrate the upcoming 60th anniversary. They agreed and even encouraged me to do so. So after that, I got to work on my 60th anniversary titles concept video.
I can confirm there are some similarities between this and my 60th anniversary concept titles, but most of what you see here was rendered LONG before I had a chance to even think of making my 60th titles. The noticeable difference is the logo between videos and the faces, with the former taking a long time to recreate into a 3D model in both videos. But let me know what you think in the comments. Are there any big or subtle changes you like or dislike between both videos? Share your thoughts as your feedback is greatly appreciated.

Happy 60th anniversary, Doctor Who!! ❤️❤️➕?
To commemorate the 60th anniversary of Doctor Who and the first of its three-parter special, The Star Beast, this Series 4 style title sequence remake pays tribute to the show in 2008, under the first regime of Russell T Davies as showrunner, with David Tennant returning as The Doctor and Catherine Tate reprising her role as former companion Donna Noble.
Special thanks go to @DoctorM1ck for his work and help with the audio, especially for his remix of the 2007/2008 opening, featuring elements from the theme from the 1967 version. You can find and check out his channel here: https://www.youtube.com/@DoctorM1ck

Legendary actor John Hurt famously portrayed the long forgotten incarnation of the Doctor who fought in the hellish era of conflict known as the Time War. For many fans, we've only seen a glimpse of that great cosmos-sized battle in the 50th Anniversary special, The Day of the Doctor, but luckily our good fellows at Big Finish have recently given us some amazing adventures involving the Time War and its most versatile warrior, the War Doctor. If there was ever a title sequence for John Hurt's Doctor, it would probably look a bit like this.
Thank you for all the support, and please give a like and share this video to your friend and Whovian you can find.
The theme in this video was composed by Howard Carter for the War Doctor audio series by Big Finish.
A big thank you for Jase Walker who kindly composed the textures for the War's Doctor's TARDIS model.

"What interest can the Cybermen have in the ruins of the planet Chronos?"
Consider this my small Christmas treat to you all. ?
After the success of my Scream of the Shalka titles remake, and after hearing some requests from my viewers, I thought it would be a good idea to have a go at recreating the titles of another one of Doctor Who's Webcast animations. More specifically, the 6th Doctor adventure Real Time, to cap off its 20th anniversary. However, this time I went with a more faithful recreation by matching the early 2000's aesthetic of internet Flash animation. In glorious 12 frames per second! ?
Hope everybody enjoys this one, and Merry Christmas to all of you at home!
