How do I calculate my cost at CVS?

Because I “roll” extra care bucks (use extra care bucks to pay and do deals that give extra care bucks back)-I calculate my cost as follows:

ECBs used + Subtotals- ECBs back and Rebates (ie Ibotta, Fetch, Coupons.com App) = Cost

Let’s say that I do a deal on Covergirl that is buy 2 and get $6 in ECBs back. After my coupons and CRTs I use $7 in ECBs to pay. Then I get $6 in ECBs back. My cost is $1.

Think of it in terms of actual cash. Let’s say I paid for Covergirl with $7 and right afterward my cashier handed me $6 back-that would make my cost $1.
