Eternal - Breathe (1990) [SARAH 31]

About Eternal:
Eternal is a short-lived band on Sarah Records 1989 in Reading, England. They released one single (Breathe) in 1990. Even though only 2000 copies of the single were pressed and the band only ever played one gig, they were credited to being heavily influencial to shoegaze bands to follow.
The 7" was released on Sarah records in 1990, approximately 2000 copies were pressed. On it were three tracks recorded in February 1990, entitled "Breathe", "Sleep", and "Take me down". Being admittedly inept at recording and low on money, they had to record the single and mix it in about 5 hours.
They did have other songs (one of which they ended their one and only gig with, more on that in a bit) but unfortunately never got it together to actually release an album. The band soon disbanded and everyone went their separate ways.

About the artist:
Alessandra Mussolini is an Italian television personality, politician, and actress. In 1982, she released an LP of songs with lyrics by Cristiano Malgioglio. The album, titled "Amore", was published by the record label Alfa and was only released in Japan. It was produced by Miki Curtis. Two 7" singles were released, featuring some songs from the album "Amore".
