In Stars and Time is, on the surface, a turn based RPG maker game, with a time loop mechanic, what it turns into is the darkside of the Groundhog Day formula, an exploration in love, loss, suffering, and loneliness. While it does have some rough spots, In Stars and Time does a good job of approaching the subversive storytelling genre.
